The Burns Cage - my version by BurnSmithersBurns

I wrote my version of this episode last night. I’d recommend not reading it until after seeing the episode to avoid biasing opinions about the episode, but I wanted to post it beforehand to prove I was only working from the premise and the information revealed in the ads (though I didn’t do it all strictly the same way as the ads show, nor did I include any scenes/jokes from the actual episode - Smithers quits in a different way, for instance).

So, there it is. My take on The Burns Cage, before I’ve seen the actual episode. So in the off-chance someone from the show happens upon this - relax, it’s not a criticism.

Just five hours and five minutes to go.

After googling it, it looks like it’s partially based on a movie called Heavenly Creatures, directed by Peter Jackson? I had no idea, but this movie looks pretty gay, so it’s something I’ll have to look into B)

YES! That was one of the episodes I was thinking of. Thank you for giving me the name of it so I don’t have to shuffle through dvds or google, haha! I agree that the Kid is Alright is also good, but not nearly as good. I will screenshot both though, can’t have enough lisa and her girlfriends

Awe, shucks!! Thank you, it makes me so happy to hear that you are enjoying this silly blog.And I haven’t received any content requests yet, but I am more than happy to do them!
