BATMAN: A LONELY PLACE OF DYING BATMAN #440-442 / NEW TITANS #60-61 BY MARV WOLFMAN, GEORGE PÉREZ, JIM APARO, MIKE DECARLO, BOB MCLEOD, TOM GRUMMETT, ADRIENNE ROY AND ANTHONY TOLLIN

Someone is following Batman and Nightwing, someone who knows their identities. Meanwhile, Batman is following the clues left by Two-Face (who wants to kill him), and Dick Grayson is coming back to Haly Circus only to find it in ruins. It won’t take long for Batman to realize that working alone is not effective, but will this make him accept Dick Grayson back?

It’s hard to discuss this story without spoilers. To be honest, shame on you if you never read this story or if you don’t know what it’s about. I will reserve spoilers for the spoilers section.

What can I actually discuss without spoilers… well, Jim Aparo made a good effort in this issue penciling young people (not his strongest skill), and he also made a very good job in making a certain character look different from his predecessors.

But the real beauty of this story is in the script, and it is probably one of the main reasons I am attracted to the Robin legacy. There is some kind of knighthood going on in the Bat-mythos that feels very strong in “A lonely place of dying”. In other words, Wolfman fixed Robin (after the poor decisions made post-crisis). Full disclaimer: I would have voted for Jason to die.

New update to the map of Tørsvall’s main town! I thought it hadn’t changed that much, but comparing this picture to my last one, it’s actually expanded quite a lot! 🤗

Two quick things - I put 3a instead of 4 because I have a horrible OCD fear of the number 4 😅. Also because I am ~extra~ the compass at the top left actually points to the north (given sunrise and sunset positions) 

Below the cut I’ll put a list of all the lots! I’ll include a link to lots that I’ve already showcased, and put lot names in italics if I haven’t decided on a name for it yet :)

PALACE DINING SET by SSTS

Polycount: from ~1200 to ~2700. All LODs, normal and specular maps, custom icons. The set includes 2 dining tables [ 13 swatches each ], 2 sideboards [ 33 swatches ], a pedestal, a wine table, a fireplace  [ 22 swatches each ], a chair and 3 recolors for it [ 151 swatches in total ]. There MUST be a white chair package in your Mods folder for other recolors - black, wooden and golden - to work.

This beautiful sofa was extracted from Devil May Cry 5 by @yolartut​. I converted it to TS4. I divided by two the number of faces ; it’s still a bit high (see polygon count).

Lucius Verus

Hi everyone!

Lucius Verus (born Lucius Ceionius Commodus; 130 – 169 AD) was the co-emperor of Rome with his adoptive brother Marcus Aurelius from 161 until his own death in 169. He was a member of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty. Verus’ succession together with Marcus Aurelius marked the first time that the Roman Empire was ruled by multiple emperors, an increasingly common occurrence in the later history of the Empire. This statue, made between 160 and 170 AD, is currently kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Italy.

I made this statue from a free 3D model I found on the Internet. I reduced significantly the number of faces, built an UV map, normal map and textures.
