Hey there, everyone. I’m Ryan and that’s a picture of me doing what I like the most – eating and making a fool of myself via questionable fashion choices.

Luckily enough, Olly Alexander doesn’t seem to mind it and has agreed to marry me for some reason – which I’m pretty sure I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to figure out. We have three dogs together and are now proud dads to the most fashionable 20 month old out there. Her name is Amaya and she’s my one true cinnamon roll.

When I’m not gushing about Olly or Aya, you can catch me writing songs for some cool bands out there and putting some other ones together in the studio. I’m also on gh @ echoparkpoet all the time, tbh. Feel free to hit me up!

The Crab Nebula, the result of a bright supernova explosion seen by Chinese and other astronomers in the year 1054, is 6,500 light-years from Earth. At its center is a super-dense neutron star, rotating once every 33 milliseconds, shooting out rotating lighthouse-like beams of radio waves and light — a pulsar (the bright dot at image center). The nebula’s intricate shape is caused by a complex interplay of the pulsar, a fast-moving wind of particles coming from the pulsar, and material originally ejected by the supernova explosion and by the star itself before the explosion.
