A Very AU Concept

.Minnie’s the cute girl in Eve’s Garden. She wears bright colors, she has bright, playful (sexual) energy. She learned that a cute, giggly, clueless woman oozing sexuality is something some men like to see. So this is her thing. 

.It’s always easy to think, ‘oh hey I can do this! I can keep actin’ like this as a persona! It’s easy n’ it don’t mean nothin’ ‘bout how I really am!!’ But then it gets tiring.  Having to keep up this attitude - having men wrap it around in all sorts of exaggerated ways that actually piss you off beneath your sweet smile. Minnie already doesn’t like being called stupid, she doesn’t like jokes about her intelligence, and she doesn’t like being treated like she’s naive at work. .And so she decides at twenty-five, ‘I really wanna drop the cute girl look. I wanna look like a mature woman on n’ off-stage. can i trade in this look for somethin’ mature??’

and bam.

60s...Modern. No matter; Minnie always watches TV with great interest. Full interest. Part of it (60s) deals with how she’s been deprived of electricity back home. It’s such a wonderful, lively object. And part of it (modern on up) she’s authentically interested with the people on screen have to say. Min talks back to it tbh.  first it seems like a spontaneous burst. like she’s really feeling what they’re saying.......

but it’s a really bad habit she’s embarrassed of around others.
