Finally just got the Whumptober list and am very hyped for the first. I may not be able to post, but it's the effort that counts, right?
Huge tip for if you're stuck on a section of your story: use squibler's dangerous writing prompts app. It's completely free, and you get to set a time limit for your session. I was stuck on chapter 10 and was able to get a first draft done in 55 minutes, because once you get going, you're terrified to stop. When you stop for too long, you loose all of your progress unless you want to go through the lengthy process of exporting your result instead of just copy pasting it at the end.
The only cons are that you have to add any italics, bolding, and indents in your editing software, whatever that is.
I hate my theater teacher because she sucks and is super hypocritical and contradicts herself all the time and calls us disrespectful, but she also let the eight of us build lamps and watch a movie with cookies she bought the whole period so…
Bflix is a website where you can watch almost anything for free. Go check it out. And, even better, it's blocked on most school computers. ANother tip for people with school computers: use lambda test to get around almost any blockers. Just sign up and mess around. I think you only get 6 sessions with 10 minutes each, but I belive that you can delete your account and clear cookies to start over. I'm actually using it to post this right now!

Picked up my schedule yesterday and discovered that
-I have A/V tech as my first period (at least its not math)

-I have the same art teacher, which i do not like butbshe let us talk during class so shes alright i guess.
-My theater teacher taught my brother and uncle.
-She's also my advisory teacher

Whump-themed Character Number Meme
So, last night I was reminiscing about the peak era of Deviantart back in like 2013 and I came across some of these little “character number memes” I used to fill out for fun. I remember always looking for whump-themed ones and not being able to find any, so in the spirit of nostalgia I decided to make one myself!
For those of you who haven’t seen one of these before, it’s basically a little prompt list that you fill out using randomized characters. Without looking at the questions beforehand, you assign a character to each number at the top. It works best if the characters are all from the same source/universe. Then, you go through each prompt or question and replace the number with the corresponding character and viola! You’ve got some weird prompts/scenes to think about or try and write out!
My favorites were always the ones that followed some sort of storyline so maybe I’ll make one of those later if people enjoy this one. But for now, here’s a loose collection of random scenes. Feel free to write them out or use them however you like. You don’t have to use the randomization mechanic if you don’t want to (though I found that it challenges how I think about certain characters and their relationships which is always cool) and remember to have fun :) I’d love to see what y’all make of it.
