any tips for someone who wants to start seriously note taking?? i mean goOd notes like yours haHAH im not sure where to begin

Hi there! I think the two main things that make someone’s notes nice are the handwriting and the layout. Handwriting is more difficult to improve, but the main tip I can give you if you want to improve your handwriting is to simply write slower and more consciously, and eventually you’ll improve! Some people also use templates as practice. As for layout, I’d say you want to always use bullet points, and use headers to separate different sections. Using different colors for the headers and for the key words will really make your notes easy to study from. I really hope this helped!

What kind of graph journals do you use?

Last year I used the Whitelines graph notebook, but the Muji ones are great as well! ✨

Hey I'm super new to the studyblr community and I was wondering how you got so many followers? I know this makes me sound super self centered but tbh people giving me attention really motivates me lol thanks❤️❤️❤️

That’s alright! I think I just used to post content consistently (not as much anymore, I’m afraid) and edit my photos in a clean manner. Also, some of the big studyblrs have their own hashtags you can put at the bottom of your posts, so they might see your post and reblog it. Hope this helps!

Any tips on how to improve your SAT score and skills? I got my scores back and they weren’t as good. But I also didn’t prepare at all for it either and still managed to get a score on the upper 900s. I just don’t know where to start

hey there! i think the first step to preparing for the sat is to get an sat prep book if you can afford one (or borrow one from your local library). i think those are incredibly helpful. start with a diagnostic test in the beginning to see which sections you’re weaker on, and then focus on those. for example, if you find you’re making a lot of reading comprehension errors, i’d read the sections in the prep book pertaining to reading comprehension and do more of those practice problems so that you can improve. i’d say overall you can see significant improvements just from doing many, many, many practice problems. (also, this subreddit supposedly is helpful if you know how to navigate reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/). good luck!

Hiiii. I got 5s and 6s on the essay portion of my SAT on my first try. Is that consider good? Should i retake? Also, I recently found out I got a 2 on my APUSH exam, and I’m kinda sad about it but not really fazed by it since I will not be considering a major in history or anything like that. But I’m just disappointed. Any tips on how to better your AP scores

hey there! i think this all depends on the type of college you want to go to. i believe 5 and 6 are average, so you’re fine, but you could retake and aim for scores between 6-8 if you want! also do not worry about your apush score heh, i know plenty of people who got into really great schools but didn’t do well on certain ap tests. if history is not related to your major, it’s really no big deal. i’d say to do better on ap scores, consistently pay attention in class year round and if you can afford it, definitely try to get a prep book for your weaker subjects, because i think they definitely help. good luck!

Hi! It may sound stupid (and I’m sorry if this is offensive 😖 I don’t mean to offend it that’s the case) but based on your very similar note taking style to studytee on YouTube, I though maybe you were studytee and this is your studyblr? Even if it’s not, I live your notes and aesthetic! Sorry again, if you’re not and feel offended 😖😖 keep the amazing work up though! (I’ll still follow you because I live for your posts on my feed!)

hello, no i am not studytee, but i’m flattered!!! her notes are beautiful :)

Hey there :) so I saw that you haven't used the staedler triplus fineliners, but have you used different fineliners? if so, do you have any recommendations? also your handwriting is literal goals

hello! i’m not quite sure what a fineliner is (but i guess that means i don’t own any?) :( however, if you scroll down in my asks a bit i think i talk about the black pens i use n other pens as well! :)

It's amazing how beautiful your notes are. I'm a medicine student and my notes are horrible. Afterwards when I repeat them they look prettier but never like yours. Any tips of how can I improve my handwriting (I like my handwriting when it's slow but when I take notes in class, hot damn it sure looks like hieroglyphics)? Love from Mexico.

hello! when i write really quickly, my handwriting is actually incredibly messy. i have to write relatively slowly for my handwriting to be this neat :’) however, i’d say practice your handwriting by just writing a lot at a slower pace, and eventually you’ll be able to speed it up a bit and have it still look nice :)

do you have any advice for someone who has no idea what they want to do with their life? graduation is quickly approaching and i have no idea what career i want to do.

hi there! i, too, have no idea what i want to do with my life. if you’re talking about high school graduation, then you have NOTHING to worry about. i didn’t even know what major i wanted to stick with when i graduated high school, and i think i’m still feeling around for the right thing. i think it’s very rare that someone will find something they’re undeniably passionate about and want to spend the rest of their life doing. for the rest of us, we kind of just have to test the waters and try things that we might be good at/enjoy. (and that’s what you can do at college!) if you’re talking about college graduation, i’m still in college so i don’t quite know what the right advice would be, but i’d say just apply for a few jobs and see where life takes you? :)
