unfortunately i finished twin peaks

#and i do mean this in a thank god way. in a what a waste of time way#first main mystery was solid even if it hurt to sit thru sometimes#whatever the fuck happened w the last 3/4 of season 2 i'm so mad about it#i sat thru all of that just to have the last 2 episodes order swapped by paramount#so not only was it an abrupt and disappointing finale but it was also a confusing experience bc of watch order#twin peaks walked so pretty little liars could run btw iykyk

so. an update (predictions included below are maybe? probably?? spoilers so warning for that)

#SO....#i used my private server for some notetaking between episodes bc i'd been cooking for a few eps#but hadn't written anything down since the original post there in ep 4#kind of a mishmash of things i developed between then and ep 6#7 sure was something huh#i AM going to dunk on this show until i die but i AM enjoying it so i'm allowed to#i should've started a tag for this. i'll go back n make one later

decided to take up the challenge i've seen youtubers do of watching twin peaks blind and seeing if i can solve the mystery before it's all revealed. unfortunately i solved it immediately so this will be no challenge at all—it's aliens. thank you

#there was one (1) person in the background wearing a tin hat so like??? irrefutable. next#anyway the Everything of this being so old is killing me but it's interesting 40 mins in#the aliens theory was a joke until this guy said lamplighter inn and i flashed to taz amnesty#so now i'm truly duck newton here. it's aliens or monsters and i won't be told otherwise#(obvs no spoilers please i know it's old but i have no fuckn idea what's going on here)#the mom finding out about laura made me cry btw that was brutal
