Hey :)

I'm gonna be honest, I've been having a hard time being connected to PJO lately because of the blog posts rick Riordan posted defending his racist portrayals of piper and samirah's cultures. I don't really care about anything past the original 5 (and I never read past hoo) but after his staunch defense of racism and his intense lesbophobia towards his fans, it's kinda hard for me to feel good about this series

If people want a perachel week this year, I'd have no problem being the hosting spot, but I don't really feel like coming up with prompts or creating for it myself

#if people send me prompt ideas i can put them to days#probably like the last week of November or something#just. rick has me feeling sad and disconnected from this series that used to make me happy#i mean my enjoyment of it has always been transformative#(i mean i run a perachel blog ffs)#but. at some point i kinda don't want to add to his cultural influence#however only a few people like perachel and it's not really giving him clout#like it's all very insular#so i wouldn't be against reblogging people's stuff in a central place#asks#sorry if this answer is a little disappointing#greenie-rj
