Why does being in your early 20s feel so much like only having 5 years of your life left in which you need to achieve as much as possible? why do I feel like I have an approaching deadline for success?

person: what?
me: *sounding more forceful* YES

Congratulations…on figuring out you’re one of the bad guys. So what? If you would have thought about it a little longer, you wouldn’t have destroyed so many lives? Huh?! You want forgiveness? Ask the little boy, who I strapped into a bus, while he screamed begging to join his mommy in prison where you sent her? You know what, ask the hundreds of families whose lives you and your friends ruined? Don’t ask me!
“Three trans women came up to me separately to tell me they had felt such a connection with Ava in Ex Machina, and her dream of finally coming to full female fruition. They had all cried; one said she was very emotional during the scene where Ava finally puts her skin on for the first time. I hadn’t really made that connection, yet that was very much what I felt when I did that scene. That longing.”
stop believing that you ran out of time to shape yourself into who you want to be! stop believing that its ruined! stop believing you don’t have potential! you are not a fixed being! you have endless opportunities to grow.
Margot Robbie on a very peculiar Australian phrase.
if you were born in the 2000s there’s a 100% chance i still think y’all are like 7.
