deleted scene: all avengers express raw emotion and show genuine grief that one of their own has fallen. they’ve won the war but they can’t enjoy the victory because of the loss. they all take a knee, a moment of silence to pay their respects.

actual scene: all avengers stand around a lakehouse not really reacting because the actors had no idea what they were actually filming. they might as well have been cardboard cutouts.

the russos: delete the one where there’s real acting involved.
