You and Taron see each other for the first time

You are an actress and you just got your first premiere. It’s a movie you’re really proud of and you got lucky enough to be part of it. You’re with your your PR, Cece, at the hotel waiting for your manager, Dan, to set everything up and apparently there has been a problem with your reservations.

- I don’t care if you don’t have any other rooms left, we have all the papers here, the studio confirmed everything would be ready when she got here! - Dan was saying aggressively to the hotel staff.

You were sitting in the lobby with your headphones on, but you could see his expression and the way everyone was staring at him. He was tired from all the travels, everyone was stressed out at this point. You approached him and pulled him gently by the arm.

- What happened? - you ask him gently.

He takes a deep breath and looks at the ceiling.

- Apparently there’s no room left for us, I’ve tried everything, they are just being rude, don’t worry I’ll handle this, I’ll call the studio and we’ll figure it out.

- Ok, calm down. I know you’re tired, we all are. Sit down a bit, I’ll see what I can do.

You turn to the receptionist and smile.

- Hi, you probably down know me, I don’t expect you to, but I would very much like to talk to your manager, can you do that for me?

She smiles briefly at you and turns around. You’re sure she’s already pissed at Dan, but yelling at her won’t get you anywhere.

While you’re waiting you can see other people coming and going. Your eyes lock into him, is it really him or are you just too tired and seeing things? No, it’s definitely him. You see Taron and your eyes cross for a brief second when a tall guy approaches you.

- Hello, miss…?

- Samantha Barnes, but Sam is fine.

- Hello miss Barnes, I’m Edward. Katherine told me you asked for me, how can I help you?

- Oh, ok. See, I’m in town for work, it’s been exhausting just getting here and the studio set everything for us so we wouldn’t have to worry about this. But see, we are extremely worried because we don’t have a place to stay. In a town we don’t know, with people we don’t know, in the middle of an on going event. See my point? We are all really tired, we just want a place to stay at least for tonight. We would sleep in your lobby if we could, but I’m not sure if that would be the right thing to do.

- Do you have reservations?

- We do.

- In your name?

- I suppose.

- Ok, let me check again. Yes, I’m afraid there’s no reservation in your name.

- Maybe someone misspelled my name or something? Maybe you can check with the studio, it’s Paramount.

- Oh, you work in the cinema industry?

- I do, but I don’t see how that’s relevant. Anyway, can you help me?

- I’ll see what I can do.

He turns away and you rest your head on the wall.

- You’re really patient.

You turn your head fast to look at the voice that spoke behind you. Matthew Vaughn was talking to you. The Matthew Vaughn. Your mouth gasps and your paralyzed for a moment, having no idea what to do. He stands his hand to you.

- Matthew Vaughn, I saw your movie last week. I have to say, you were great for a first movie. You remind me of Taron Egerton, don’t know if you heard of him.

- Oh my God, you know who I am?

- And you’re quite obviously new at this, I could figure that out even if I didn’t put your name on google after I saw you.

- I-I-yes. I’m sorry, this is too much, I shouldn’t be acting like this, but I love your movies, you’re one of my favorites by far, I can’t really believe this is happening to me. I’m full fangirl mode right now and I totally shouldn’t, I’m so sorry.

He laughed at your reaction.

- No, that’s ok. That’s better than having you look at me disappointed. - he says smiling and that makes you a bit more relaxed.

Edward comes back and looks at you.

- I’m deeply sorry, Ms. Barnes. If you would please follow me to your room.

You smile and turn to Matthew to say goodbye but you find no one. For a moment you think it might have been an illusion, but than you find him near the elevators talking to Taron and you breath relieved that you’re not starting to lose your mind.
