But Tommy was quick to push the boy away. “Tommy, Tommy no it’s okay. Here you go man.” Steve said as he held out the camera. But before Johnathan could get to it Steve dropped it from his hands and onto the road below them. “Steve.” y/n said quietly but not quite enough so that he could not hear her. “Let’s go the game is about to start.” Steve said as he went to walk off away from the group in the parking lot.

summary: (bassically what the title says) steve finally tells y/n how he feels about her. how long he has loved the girl for, and asked to go steady with her. with that he shows the sliver band (ring) that he had been carrying around with him for the past two years. pairing: steve harrington x reader warnings: none? i don’t think so season: 1
y/n had decided that she really did not want to have anything to do with steve after the events that had happened earlier on today at the theatre. she knew that her best-friend could be a dick at times but she never knew that he would do this to a girl who was like a sister to her. Steve knew deep down that he did screw up with the both of them (he didn’t really care for johnathan) He also knew that him being with Nancy is not what he wanted, yes he did care for the Wheeler girl but he didn’t love her like her loved y/n he had been in love with the girl since middle school. He couldn’t help it, when they first met let’s just say that y/n didn’t really want anything to do with the boy. being the new one in town it was kind of hard for her to make friends anyways. but now when she thinks about it she doesn’t really know why she was so mean to the poor boy all he wanted was to be friends.
