So I’ve done it again...you can thank my dad for introducing me to Blue Bloods and my boy Jamie Reagan.  Naturally, I’ve gotta show him some love in the form of beating up on him a *little* bit.  I am only on Season 3, but I’ve seen enough on Tumblr to love me some Jamko already.  This is set before they get together, but after they acknowledge their feelings for one another.  Since I haven’t seen the later seasons yet, throw this somewhere in between there for me and call it good? Haven’t decided yet how long it’s gonna be, but at least a 2-parter.

Also...for anyone waiting for the next part of Make This Right (SEAL Team), please please please don’t hurt me! I’m trying, I really am...I think the whole fear of not getting renewed and then the events of the latest episode have me somewhat shooketh, soo I’m trying. I promise.

Prompt: Take Me Instead Fandom: Blue Bloods Characters: Jamie Reagan, Eddie Janko, Danny Reagan, Frank Reagan

The call for an alarm at a jewelry store a block away from where Jamie and Eddie had taken their break set the partners into motion immediately.  Jamie slid behind the steering wheel while Eddie grabbed the radio.  “Central, show 12-David responding to the alarm at Taylor’s Jewelry.”

As soon as they arrived on scene, the pair could see figures inside looting the store.  Without a word, they slid out of the car and approached the shattered door, guns drawn.  “NYPD! Come out with your hands raised and we can all get out of this in one piece!”

Jamie’s command garnered no response, so he gestured for Eddie to follow him in carefully.  He registered four perps dressed in black, no visible weapons - until one was swung around in their direction, stalling in Eddie’s direction.  Without hesitation Jamie shouldered her back, and was not surprised by the sharp crack of a gunshot.  The impact of the bullet twisted him into Eddie’s stunned arms, but it still took a moment for the pain to hit.  She supported his weight as his knees buckled, softening his collapse while redirecting her eyes desperately around them.

“Get back! Drop the gun or I will shoot!”  With her left hand Eddie fumbled with her pocket to pull out a pressure bandage, blindly feeling around her partner’s chest for the point of impact.  Jamie did his best to guide her hand towards the source of his blinding pain, glad that she was keeping her focus on the thieves.  Once he found the wound, he tapped once on her wrist, and sucked in a hiss when she pressed down firmly.

Brother (SEAL Team)

So I’ve been on a huge NEEDTOBREATHE kick since seeing their acoustic concert last weekend, and their song Brother has been one of the ones playing on repeat.  It made me think of SEAL Team, of Clay and the way he’s been abandoned by everyone outside of Bravo.  So this is a series of snippets of the team reminding him that the Brotherhood will never abandon him set to the lyrics of aforementioned amazing song.

Ramblers in the wilderness we can’t find what we need We get a little restless from the searching Get a little worn down in between Like a bull chasing the matador is the man left to his own schemes Everybody needs someone beside em’ shining like a lighthouse from the sea

Jason glanced up when he entered the cages, surprised to see that he’d been beaten there by the youngest team member.  Clay seemed to be rearranging his cage, tucking clothes away on his shelves.  “Morning, Spenser...early start, yeah?”

The way he startled rose alarms in Jason’s mind; SEALs weren’t exactly the easiest types to surprise.  Sure, it was early in the morning, but he knew Clay had a consistent routine in the morning that would have him awake and alert.  Taking a closer look, Jason noticed the kid’s hammock hooked to the corner of his cage.  Clay turned, saw the direction of his gaze, and sidestepped in front of it.  “Y-yeah...I-uh…”

“Did you sleep here?”  Clay didn’t answer, instead running his hand through his hair nervously.  “Is there something going on with your apartment? You could’ve given me a call, man…”  He knew it was more than that if the younger man was so...jumpy, but he knew he was missing something.

Hesitant blue eyes studied him for a moment before Clay seemed to decide to open up about what was on his mind.  “Nah, man, I just...I ran into Stella before we spun up and my apartment was just too quiet last night, ya know?”

“Ouch,” the team leader hissed, understanding the notion all too well.  “How was seeing her again?”

Clay shrugged, squaring away the last of his things.  “Not really sure yet, to be honest.  I think that’s why I just came here last night...here seems to be the one place where things make sense right now.”  He sent Jason a wry smile.  “I’ll figure it out.”

As the blonde passed, Jason settled a hand on his shoulder to stop him.  “If you need to talk through anything, you know where I am, Kid.”  Clay nodded, and Jason allowed him to continue on to the gym.

Make This Right Pt. 3 (SEAL Team)

Awareness returned to Clay in the form of flickering light across his eyelids, which stopped as soon as he started to shift.  The movement spiked agony in his leg again, bringing back memories of where he was and why he was in so much pain.  The blonde groaned, rolling his head for a moment to ensure he still had proper movement.

“You just can’t keep yourself out of trouble, can you GQ?” Sonny’s voice drifted down to him, and relief flooded Clay.  Not only did Sonny’s snark mean his brothers were safe, he’d been found.  Getting him out, though...probably a different story.

“Just trying to keep things interesting…” His voice drifted off as he remembered the fact that his team believed that he’d sold them out to his father.  “The others okay?”

“The hostiles you warned us about moved on without seeing us, thank you, and the rest of the team continued with the mission while I came for your sorry ass.  So...what’s the damage? Is that blood on your leg?”

“Yeah...compound fracture that...frankly is hurting a hell of a lot more than it did when I first fell,” Clay replied, easing himself into a sitting position and trying to get a look at his injury without pulling on it.

“Probably adrenaline wearing off, gotta hurt like hell.  Stop moving so much, you might make it worse.  Let me give the team an update and make sure they don’t need overwatch...don’t go wanderin’ off.” Clay ha-ha’d and watched the Texan duck out of view.

Once he was alone, Clay returned his attention to the blood caked onto his pant leg.  With slightly shaky fingers, he reached down to pull the fabric away from his skin, and stars burst in his vision at the first tug.  “Oooooh fuckfuckfuckfuck, don’t pass out, don’t pass out…”  Not trying that again until the team gets him the hell out of his hellhole.

“If you really were this bad-ass SEAL capable of erasing my steps, you would’ve seen all of this coming, you know.”

Impossible.  Not happening.  I’m actually hallucinating...wonderful.  Opening his eyes, Clay found his father sitting against the wall to his left, a smug grin on his face.  “All of what, Ash?”

“The sabotage, the fact that your so-called brothers turned on you the second the news broke, hell, that damned hole in the floor.  You think you are going to surpass me making bullshit mistakes like this?  You’re lucky you’re not dead.”

Clay rolled his eyes, pinched the bridge of his nose.  “I can’t be that lucky if I have to listen to you even when there is no possible way you’re here…”

“Don’t pretend that it matters whether or not I’m physically here, because even still I’m messing with your head, and that is what matters.  Because regardless, you know it’s all true.  You’re in this predicament right now because you weren’t paying attention to your own damn feet.  This team doesn’t care about you the way you care about them...the way you need them.”

Clay shook his head, fighting the rise of nausea that had nothing to do with his pain.  “Yeah, maybe I made a careless mistake because I was too worried about my team...maybe it’s got me fucked up that they don’t trust that I wouldn’t sell them out.”  He was silent for a long moment, breathing through the pain and grief.  “Even if you cost me everything...even if I lose the career I love and the only true family I’ve ever had, because you are more worried about your fucking money and fame...I won’t regret a second of my life as a SEAL.  Because I got to learn what true SEALs look like...men who would die for one another, and men who would never jeopardize the integrity of their mission.”

Make This Right Pt. 2 (SEAL Team)

“Up and at ‘em, boys.  Seven mikes to jump time.”  Clay pushed himself up and out of his hammock, securing it deftly and gearing up in silence as the rest of the team did the same.  He felt their tense glances, and found himself grateful for the fact that they needed to be focused in order to ensure they were ready for their HALO jump into Iran.

“Once everyone lands and gathers, we’ll move around the mountain and will be in place to snatch the target just before dawn.  Everyone clear?” Jason looked around to each of the team, and Clay dropped his gaze with a submissive nod just before the steady gaze landed on him.  BRAVO took up formation at the back of the plane, and Clay found himself relieved to be at the back when memories of Brian’s death flashed across his mind.  Brock, with Cerberus secured to his chest, glanced over his shoulder at the blonde’s shuddering breath; these damn things never seemed to get easier since he lost his friend, but now was not the time to show weakness.

Taking advantage of the fact that the wind would’ve muffled any voices as they dove, Clay let his body shift into autopilot, and his mind drift to what would happen after this mission ended.  Maybe it would be better if I didn’t even make it back, he thought morbidly, before Clay shut down that thought sharply.  No matter his feelings, he would never jeopardize his teammates by letting himself get careless.

Make This Right (SEAL Team)

Fandom: SEAL Team Prompt: Falling from a Great Height Characters: Clay Spenser, BRAVO Team

((The physical whump doesn’t come til next chapter, but there’s some emotional whump here for ya hehe))

“Figures that the cake-eaters are sending us out yet again, before we even get a chance to breathe,” Ray muttered, eyes flicking over to Sonny as they all started packing their equipment.

Clay watched the team silently for a moment, feeling the weight of the world press down on his shoulders.  A nagging voice in the back of his mind accused that this latest spin-up is on him...because his father leaked more information about DEVGRU missions, and once again implied that he’d gotten it from his son.  Since they’d found out - particularly since they’d gotten word immediately after of their new mission - Bravo had been short and biting with him.  Trent and Brock hadn’t spoken a word to him, Sonny hadn’t really said much of substance to anyone considering he’d only been released from the hospital three hours prior to getting called back, and Jason hadn’t taken time to listen to him.  The Team Leader had cut him short when Clay’d attempted to defend his innocence, telling him that they hadn’t even gotten over Korea and didn’t need to be dealing with another issue so soon.

Still, the youngest team member hated the idea of spinning up with this tension between them.  “Hey, guys, I need to say something before we-”

“Unless it has to do with why the hell you didn’t follow us to the infirmary after we got Sonny out of that God-forsaken torpedo tube, now is not the time, Spenser.  Pack it up and let’s go.”

The sharp retort of his Master Chief startled him, Clay’s back straightening instinctively and emotions sliding from his face.  The entire team fell silent, their stares adding to the heaviness on the blonde’s back.

Can’t Be Happening, Final Part (SEAL Team)

“Okay, are you sure you’re still comfortable, babe?” Stella asked softly, leaning over him on the bed.  Clay gazed up at her, unimpressed.  Even though he’d been released to go home, switching confinement from one bed to another did nothing to help his cabin fever. “You have been home all of three hours, don’t give me that look.  I’m going to make some lunch for you and Sonny, I’m just making sure you don’t need anything so you’re not trying to get up while I’m in the kitchen.  I’ll bring your next round of meds with your food.”

“Sorry,” the blonde murmured, sufficiently chastised.  “I’m good, Stell.  Just looking forward to the day I can get this sling and cast off, and these damn stitches out.  I can’t get comfortable to save my life, and basically being an invalid is for the friggin’ birds.”

Stella combed her fingers through his curls and pressed a tender kiss to his forehead.  “I know...I can’t imagine how much you’re going crazy being stuck in bed, but the more you push yourself the longer it’ll take to get back out with the team.  I’ll be back in a minute.”  Clay nodded, and Stella headed out into the kitchen, smiling warmly at Sonny sprawled on the couch snoring.

In the week since Clay had welcomed her back, the team had slowly involved her more in the planning for his recovery as she regained their trust, though Sonny had been the toughest egg to crack.  It wasn’t until the Texan had walked in on her snapping at Clay about easing up on the rest of the team for their reservations about her that Sonny seemed to finally accept that she was back for good; she knew part of his anger towards her had stemmed from his own misplaced guilt, and it felt good to earn his trust in spite of everything.  For the man to be sleeping spoke volumes.  The rest of Bravo was grounded for the time being, and had established a rotation for staying with Clay at all times.  Stella herself had taken leave from school, and was able to be with him consistently (much to the dismay of her parents, who had been quick to say ‘I told you so’ when she’d finally answered their calls following the hostage video) to help his teammates keep him off his feet.

Can’t Be Happening Pt. 5 (SEAL Team)

((I can’t believe we have to wait until MARCH for new episodes.  WHAT IS THAT?!?! NOT COOL MAN!!!! I will do my best to help break up the hiatus…there will be one more chapter after this one and then I’ll get started with some other ideas.  Don’t forget, let me know if you have any requests and I will do my best to make it happen!  BTW, totally making up Clay’s rank.  I know at one point they ID’d him as ‘sailor’ (when Ray was dealing with the whole accidental death of the boy) but A) he’d be called Seaman if he were a non-rate and B) from what I have been able to find, someone on an assault team like Bravo is a First-Class Petty Officer or higher, so he should have been addressed as SO1 not ‘sailor’, especially considering his experience leading other teams as they’ve mentioned several times.  But that’s my own personal nitpick ;) and I could also be wrong so there’s also that hahaha))

A dull throb drew Clay back into consciousness, but it took several minutes to figure out that it originated from...well, everywhere.  Whole left side of his body, middle...area of the right side of his body...face...there wasn’t a particular spot that he could identify as not aching.

Memories hit him abruptly, of noticing movement in the shadows as he cleared a room chasing Doza’s right’ hand man after he fled the courtyard, of pushing Sonny back to the relative safety of the street and surrendering himself to the dozen men waiting for them.  The video...the brutal beating they’d given him despite his insistence that he didn’t know anything.  The agony of his leg being broken, and then...nothing.

Forcing himself to remain still, Clay listened to his surroundings.  When nothing stood out, he tested his ability to move, and felt panic threaten to seize him.  Despite the pain, his left arm was utterly immobile, and his right wrist was definitely bound to something.  Dammit.

Voices filtered into wherever the hell he was, and Clay sank into his cover as he gave up on the pretense of unconsciousness.  “Please-” A wracking cough cut him off, and fresh agony stole his breath for a moment.  “I-I thought it was a restaurant...I don’t know anything.”

Hands pressed against his chest, careful of his shoulders...the first sign that maybe he was missing something.  “Stand down, Spenser...you’re safe.”

Davis.  Finally blinking against the bright lights above him, Clay took in the concerned face hovering above him and gave a relieved smile.  “Lis-” Another round of coughing, and she was gently pressing a straw against his lips.

“Easy, Clay, drink slow.  Take a minute, get your bearings.  We’re back in Virginia.”  Clay looked down to see his left arm strapped firmly across his chest, likely to secure his dislocated shoulder.  He did raise a questioning brow, though, when he looked down to see his right wrist secured to the bed.  “This isn’t the first time you woke up.  First time you’ve woken up coherent enough to settle, though...you tore out your IV the first time trying to fight free before Sonny and Jase could hold you down and the doc could sedate you.”

After taking another long drink he nodded for her to take the cup away.  “How long has it been? Where are the guys?”  Man, his throat was like sandpaper.

Lisa grinned wryly as she pressed the call button.  “It’s been five days since you were taken, two since we made it back to Virginia.  The guys are at Command...getting a dressing down for going in after you I’m sure.  Not that any of them care, Blackburn has already gone to bat for them, so they will probably just be confined to base for a while.”

Can’t Be Happening Pt. 4 (SEAL Team)

((All the tears over the brotherhood in this last episode...especially my BroTP.  Ugh, they wrecked me.  Pretty sure I’ll be writing a follow-up of some kind since I doubt we’ll get one on screen whenever our boys are back.  Sorry this took so long and is so short, class started up again and has me all kinds of busy and tired, but I wanted to get something out for you lovelies.  Will probably actually be wrapping up in the next couple of chapters, so please let me know if there’s anything else you want to see!))

By the time the rest of the team finished cleaning up, Trent was just coming into the waiting area and looked exhausted.  “Spenser?” Jason asked hesitantly, not liking the look on his medic’s face.

“He’s as stable as he’s going to get here.”  Blood streaked his cheek as he ran a hand down his face, and Trent clenched a trembling fist.  “They don’t have sufficient resources and infection is starting to set in...we’ve gotta to get him back to Virginia Beach if he’s going to get the transfusion and meds that he needs.”

Sonny resisted the urge to punch the nearest wall, and the entire team turned to Blackburn, who was already on the phone.  Within minutes, everything was lined up to get them back to home and the team was packing up.

None of them spoke as one by one they made it to the tarmac, where their wounded brother was secured to a gurney with a bag of saline hanging from the IV pole.  Trent was the last to arrive, taking a moment to clean himself up before exchanging information quietly with the Mexican doctor and shaking the man’s hand.  The team followed solemnly as the medic eased Clay into the plane.  The flight was similarly quiet, everyone anxious to disturb Clay despite his ghost-like pallor and utter lack of movement since they’d seen him carted away upon arrival at the Mexican base.

“Any change?” Davis asked when Trent sat down near her after going through his fifth checkup. The SEAL sighed heavily and dropped his head into his hands.  Davis rubbed his back, wishing there was more that she could do to help her boys.

“He’s got a raging fever.  The stab wound is infected, and the antibiotics they had to offer can’t even come close to touching it.  He won’t wake up, the reset and splint job they did on his leg is mediocre at best...and none of this even touches what all of this has done to his mind.  We have no idea how he’s going to react when he wakes up...if he wakes up.”

Davis shook her head.  “One step at a time, Sawyer.  No jumping to conclusions, Spense is nothing if not stubborn.”

“Landing soon.  Medical crew is waiting, they’ll get him taken care of,” Blackburn murmured, approaching the team and gesturing for everyone to get secured.

Can’t Be Happening Pt. 3 (SEAL Team)

((Can I just say how much I HATE Ash Spenser right now? How much do we want to bet he implied that it was Clay that told him about the op intentionally, knowing full well saying a Seal that was there would make the brass believe he was talking about his son? Can only imagine how much trouble this is going to bring up for Clay. Grr.))

The sight of the man she loved, chained from the ceiling and barely able to hold himself upright with blood coating his temple and right side, left Stella breathless.  Even still, she knew that he needed her in that moment, so she steeled herself and stepped up until she was directly in front of him.  Her trembling hand reached up to cradle the ‘clean’ side of his face. “You know the guys would never leave you behind.  They’ll come for you soon, baby...you’ve just got to hold on a little bit longer, okay?”  Tears filled her eyes, slid down her cheeks.  “Stay with me. I’m right here.”  She willed Clay to look up at her, to meet her eyes and let her know that he heard her.  As he leaned his head into her hand, though, agony twisted his handsome features-

Stella jerked awake with a gasping breath, fresh tears spilling over her lashes.  The dream had been so real...it had felt as though Clay’s too-warm skin was actually under her hand, smelled like the metallic blood that seemed to be staining his white t-shirt red too quickly.  Just as had happened when she watched his abuse on the screen at the bar, Stella’s stomach rebelled at the thought that this might be even close to reality for Clay and left her rushing for the bathroom.

Can’t Be Happening Pt. 2 (SEAL Team)

So yeah...this is gonna be a few more chapters than just the 2 I originally anticipated.  Kinda got away from me *shrugs* ooooh darn. Bit of language and violence in this chapter.

“Why the hell are we not going after these sons of bitches right fucking now?! Did we not all just watch the same fucking video?! Clay doesn’t have time for us to twiddle our thumbs and wait for the cake-eaters to weigh the costs of going after one of our own!” Sonny paced restlessly, images of his brother being manhandled by Doza’s men replaying across his mind.

Jason stopped him with a strong hand on his shoulder and steady stare.  “We can’t just go in guns blazing and expect him to still be alive when we make it to him, Son...we need to figure out exactly where he is and what we are going to do before we can get him back.  Let’s focus on that in the meantime, deal with the red tape if it’s still there when we have a plan, yeah?”  Sonny held his gaze for a long moment before relenting.  Jason nodded and turned back to the computer screen with a steadying breath. “We need to watch it again.  Captain, I need your men to identify anything that can help us determine where they are.”  He turned to Davis and Mandy.  “You don’t need to stay in here for this…”

Despite the tears in their eyes, both women stood firm.  “Not going anywhere, Bravo One,” Davis murmured.  Sonny found himself wanting to reach out to take her hand, both to give and take comfort as the hostage video featuring their youngest teammate began to play from the beginning.  Even before they pulled the hood off, the Texan could read the tension in Clay’s posture, could hear the hitch in his breathing.  Not to mention the blood staining his white Mexico shirt meant to cast him as a tourist.  Even before the bastards started filming, they’d done a number on the kid.

This is part one of two (possibly three) that incorporates a BadThingsHappenBingo prompt and a request by Shelly88.  There seems to be a divide regarding Stella...personally, I was hoping they’d work out, partly because I’ve been the new girlfriend struggling to fit into/adapt to military life.  So part of this is also my fix-it for Stella’s character in general...and is set before the boys return from Mexico, obviously.  Little bit more language in this one.

Fandom: SEAL Team

Characters: Clay Spenser, Stella Baxter, BRAVO Team, Naima Perry

Prompt: Hostage Video

Can’t Be Happening

Every step that Clay Spenser took away from his car, towards the plane, sent a stab of grief through Stella’s heart.  Guilt tore at her stomach; here he was heading off to deployment, and she’d just ripped the rug out from beneath his feet.  Once he was out of sight the brunette took several steadying breaths, wiping the tears from her eyes, and moved around the car to the driver’s side door that he’d left open.  This was not how she’d wanted things to go…

The movement of her - Clay’s - passenger door opening and someone sliding into the car startled Stella from her thoughts, and she sighed heavily as Naima shut the door once again.  “What’s going on, Stella?”

“Nothing, I’m just upset that he’s deploying, always makes me emotional,” Stella lied, hands clenching around the steering wheel.  The older woman watched her silently for a long moment, and Stella forced herself not to squirm.

“I might not have known Clay for long, but I’ve never seen him look that dejected, and him heading to deployment like that worries me.  So I’m going to ask you again, what’s going on?”

Despite the gentle tone of her voice, Stella could feel the tension rolling off of Naima.  There was no getting out of this conversation. “I...I just...I don’t know how to do this anymore.  I don’t know how to handle the fear...first it was the cave-in, then the helicopter crash, then he was shot and had to watch Adam die in the same night.”  Fresh tears sprang to her eyes, and she shook her head.  “I can’t bear the thought of life without him...but I can’t handle the stress of waiting for a phone call any time that he leaves.  I was...I was trying to keep it together, push through it until he got home, but...Clay has always been able to read me like a freaking book, and you know how they are once they get something in their heads.  He just wouldn’t let it go.  The last thing I wanted was for him to ship out with this weighing on him.”

Characters: Clay Spenser, Brock Reynolds, Bravo Team

Prompt: Buried under rubble

“I’m just sayin’, when we get back stateside, we need to go out and have a boys-only night to get young Spencer back on the horse,” Sonny insisted as Bravo team made their way to the waiting Blackhawk.  The blonde in question rolled his eyes with a smile.

“You mean to tell me you’re going to exclude the best wingman you’ve got?!” Davis replied in their ears, drawing chuckles from all of the men.  Cerberus trotted ahead of them and leapt into the chopper easily and Brock shoved Sonny’s shoulder as he followed his canine partner.

“Fine…boys plus Davis.”

Clay climbed into the chopper and settled in beside Brock.  “Don’t I get a say in whether or not I’m even interested in ‘getting back on the horse’?”

“No.”

Just when you think you couldn’t possibly find a new handsome to beat up on, you discover SEAL Team and the amazing angst and brotherly love that is Bravo team, with their oh-so-whumpable rookie Clay Spenser. So here is my first venture into the fandom, for my #BadThingsHappenBingo, hope you enjoy!  Please excuse any discrepancies in how things may or may not go down with CIA agents overseas and such, I know nothing ;)

Fandom: SEAL Team

Characters: Clay Spenser, Bravo Team

Prompt: Doesn’t realize they’ve been injured

To say that the op was supposed to be a simple one would have been a lie; Bravo Team had gone into Syria fully aware that the extraction of captured CIA agents would be chaotic in the absolute best case scenario.

This? This was nearly as-fucking-far from best case as things could be.  Sure, they’d found their targets and neutralized the immediate threat, did so pretty damn quickly, in fact, and had been right on schedule for exfil before first light.  Until one of the agents, Lewes, insisted on going back for the terrorist’s study to steal the intel they’d originally been there to gather.  Clay was the first to catch the man’s redirection and attempt to stop him, but he was just quick enough to slip beyond Six’s grasp.  The order for Clay and Sonny to “bring that idiot back here alive before exfil window closes” wasn’t even fully out of Jason’s mouth before the SEALs were obeying, night vision in place.

Bravo Four briefly settled a hand on Six’s shoulder as they moved through the hallway, both alert for any threat and listening for the pounding footsteps of the spook around the corner.  Clay cleared said corner before following, just in time to see the man duck into a doorway to their left.  The blonde cursed under his breath and keyed his comms.  “Bravo One this is Bravo Six, be advised our runner has entered a room on the West side of the building, we may have trouble if there are combatants across the courtyard. I say again, we will be exposed.”

Second snippet for the #badthingshappenbingo.  Also in the Six fandom, but unrelated to the last one.  As you will probably learn with this challenge, I tend to focus on whumping my favorite character in each fandom, in the case of Six being Caulder.  If there’s something else you want to see, let me know and I will see what I can do ;)  (Just like before, not 100% content with this.  I’d love feedback though!)

Fandom: Six (History Channel)

Characters: Alex Caulder, Joe “Bear” Graves, Trevor Wozniak, Ricky “Buddha” Ortiz, Robert Chase, Armin “Fishbait” Kahn, Dharma Caulder

Prompt: Betrayal

Joe “Bear” Graves felt uneasy about the situation from the moment they stepped foot out of the Blackhawks in the backwoods of Azerbaijan.  His gut kept screaming at him to get his men back into the air and on their way back home, but orders were orders.  The President himself had ordered them to end this fiasco with the Prince, once and for all, and finally they seemed to have a break in the intel.

With a quick glance around at the rest of his team, the leader found some semblance of confidence.  He was surrounded by the best warriors in the world, and the unit’s cohesion seemed to be settling back down after Alex’s return and the brief bout of tension between him and Wozniak.  They were on their way to capture - or kill - the Prince, and then maybe they could end the threats to their families for a while.

Characters: Alex Caulder, Dharma Caulder, Joe “Bear” Graves

Prompt: Gunshot wound.  Rip’s shooter makes a visit to her next target on the list given to her by Michael.

A soft knock at the door drew Alex Caulder’s attention.  For a beat, he hoped that it would be Dawn, back after changing her mind and deciding she deserved to be happy again.  But no, that would be too much to ask for someone like him.  He didn’t even feel worthy of the fledgling relationship he had with his daughter, let alone someone who had no blood ties to him outside of his team.  His team…

Another knock, firmer this time, had the SEAL on his feet.  “Coming,” Alex called.  A quick scan through his windows gave no indication of the identity of his visitor.  A brunette, looking to be in her mid twenties, stood on the other side of his door.  “Can I help you?”
