Well, if you want the official way it started, it was in one of my RPs that included the canon DR games, DRA1 and SDRA2, but I’ll give my best breakdown of what happened.Basically Hoshi was being chased by Kinji, priest man. He hid behind Hajime until Kinji was gone, Then the two kind of talked, and Hoshi referred to Hajime as his “Coach”. Flustered, Hoshi ran away, with Hajime following him, as Hoshi didn’t want Makunouchi to make him think about his past coach, and he kind of made himself relapse into his depression, which Hajime was there and talked him out of doing something regrettable. From there, Hoshi began following Hajime and seeing what he was like until Hajime finally noticed and Hoshi told him how thankful he was Hajime was there for him when nobody else was, and they began to get closer until Hoshi asked Hajime if they could be lovers. Of course Hajime let it happen.In the actual rp the ship is from, Hoshi was the one to propose to Hajime, with Kaede fangirling in the background. They don’t want to have a wedding due to how expensive it is. Hoshi being the sentimental/critical type, views them as just a fancy way of saying “I love you.” He does sometime worry he doesn’t say it enough to Hajime, even after just saying it casually. He loves cuddling with Hajime a lot, since he knows the Boxing champion can fight off whoever might come for him, which eases Hoshi’s mind quite a lot regarding his fear of people he gets close too possibly getting hunted down.However, Disregarding the rp. I feel as though Hajime is exactly the kind of person Hoshi would want regarding his love hotel event in V3.Based on the love hotel event, Hoshi wants someone who’ll hold his hand and be there for him and can appreciate him and be his manager to keep himself in check. He also had a thing for his Coach, who remained unnamed.Hajime seemed like a good fit to me because he’s a health nut. Plus He seems like a rather positive guy who’s not afraid to set Hoshi straight at the same time. They’d probably get into playful fights about what to have for dinner, or Hoshi getting nagged by Hajime about eating too many sweets because of his sweet tooth.Also, the two of them love animals, Hajime likes dogs, and Hoshi likes cats. I’m sure their love of animals would bring them to adopting a pet together.Oof I must’ve been really bored atm cause I just wrote an essay in response lolBut I hope you’re satisfied :)-AlterHoshi

Ryoma Hoshi with a tall female s/o. And she wears long dresses, so Ryoma can hide under her skirt.

For example his s/o is sitting at a couch and Kirumi is vacuuming so she asks s/o to put her feet up and she reluctantly does so, revealing Hoshi who hisses at Kirumi like a cat.

Or they’re having a school ball and everyone is asking s/o who did she come to the ball with and she just lifts her skirt slightly, revealing Hoshi in a suit, sipping on juice or petting a cat. He just waves before she drops the skirt again, “He’s a little shy.”

And when she walks he just hangs onto her leg. Everyone was pretty weirded out by Hoshi’s habit in the start, but they got used to it over time. Sometimes Ouma would make fun of Hoshi and ask if he could also hide under s/o’s skirt, causing Hoshi to climb out and chase him with his tennis racket in hand. Luckily for Ouma s/o usually catches Hoshi before he does any permanent damage. Gonta and Kiibo are utterly bewildred at Hoshi’s behaviour and at first were curious if it was normal for people to do that. They even asked their own s/o to wear a long skirt to try hiding under it, however, due to their size, that didn’t really work out. Kiibo wasn’t all that surprised by the revelation, although he was surprised by the sight of his s/o’s underwear, cause unlike Hoshi’s s/o she didn’t wear pants underneath. He turned red and immediately dashed out from under her skirt to go hide somewhere. Gonta was disappointed that he couldn’t fit under his s/o’s skirt properly and hid his face in his hands after accidentally catching a glimpse of her underwear. Hoshi and his s/o watched both couples from afar, Hoshi’s s/o giggling quietly and Hoshi rolling his eyes at the two naive boys. After that he promptly climbed under her skirt and requested to be taken home to play with her cats.
