Permit me to be vain. I’d love to start a “vain train” where all of us in the fish community post our favorite pics of ourselves. I’d especially love to see everyone since a lot of you are return clients, and it’s always great to put a face to a client/internet pal. <3

01112017, decided to consolidate my tanks again. And, so there are two male bettas now in my 20 gallon long tank. They seem to get along. No real fighting. Just flaring and light chasing.

I’m just going to say… Imagine living in a small apartment with no doors. You have a roommate. And said roommate will shout “FUCK YOU, I DON’T WANT YOU HERE” at you every day, all day and threaten to beat you up. Sounds stressful? Yeah, it is.

C'mon. There’s nothing to be proven here. It’s just unfair towards the fish. If they don’t die of injury or illness, they die of stress. You don’t need two bettas in a tank.

I just came home and hades head looked like this? Does anyone have any idea what it is/what could have caused it?

Could be missing scales. Is there anything that he could have scraped up against in his tank? What are your params in the tank? Filter? Heater? Water change schedule? Is he acting normally other than this?

The peramiters are 0:0:5, I'm not sure if there's really anything he could have scraped up against (but I'll post a picture to see) I'm not sure on the filter and heater because that's what came with his tank. I should probably mention that he's been in the tank under a week, (since Sunday) and I've changed the water 1 time since then and am planning to do so again tomorrow. He is acting normally. He does have fun rot, because before I put him in the new tank I was away for a while and no one did water changes in his old tank.
