I’m not afraid to admit it, I love my original characters. I love Sylver, who was written for my teenage autistic sister. I love Omri - I had a novel intended for him, the ex-CIA analyst, so he’s more fleshed out than the typical OC because of his backstory. I adore the relationship he has with Sylver, somewhere between a brother and a dad.

The love story he has with her sister is epic and I’m sorry you’ll never see all of it. Thought since I’m killing some characters I might as well go into it. Aly Keene was a socialite, meant to inherit the majority of her family’s estate. Ousted through shady legal tactics, the only way her father’s will now allowed her to regain her inheritance was a deadline marriage. Aly couldn’t care much about the money, but her stepfamily was now using their role as her little sister’s guardians to access her fortune (with Aly removed from the picture, Sylver stood to inherit everything.) Aly desperately searched for some answer to this challenge until her eyes landed on Coffee Shop dude. Coffee Shop dude, always on his phone and laptop, always ordering the same light roast americano, had hardly looked at her in the beginning. But, being a barista gave her an excuse to be chatty. Eventually they developed enough of a rapport to find themselves tentatively dating.

Then Aly began to pick up on some odd occurrences that tended to happen while she was with him. Omri always took his phone calls behind locked doors. She started finding rounds for firearms around his apartment like Easter eggs. And he seemed to know things about her before she could tell him.

She meant to ask him about all of it, but then she had to save his life. Delirious from the fever brought on by his epilepsy, he told her about how he was burned from the CIA for pursuing an unauthorized lead on a division of illegally enhanced Synths. Feeling a kinship with him for being kicked out of the world he wanted to be in, Aly confessed her ulterior motives for dating him.

Motives he in fact knew about, having profiled her and done his research before asking her out.

When she asked why he started seeing her despite knowing what she wanted, he teasingly answered because she made the perfect americano.

“So will you?” she’d asked him. He refused initially, citing he had nothing to offer her. Then she told him about Sylver, about how gaining custody of her sister was all she needed. They could always divorce later, she told him.

He agreed, and after an ugly legal battle that was only won because Omri had a few brilliant legal connections on his side, Aly, Omri, and Sylver lived happily for awhile. Until Omri was tapped by a black ops agency interested in the case that got him blacklisted in the first place. It was an agonizing decision between his new family or his old life. At one point he offered Aly a divorce, and she blew up at him for so easily discarding their relationship for a job. She took Sylver and left for a day. Then he opened the door the next night and found her on his doorstep. Apologetic, he detailed the significance of the Open Pathway project to her for the first time and made it clear what could happen to the world if it got into to hands of the wrong people.

Aly refused to leave. In fact, she had an unorthodox idea of how to help him. He shot her down immediately. It was risky beyond measure and she was unequipped to do it.

“So train me,” she’d said. After many long nights of arguing her case, Omri showed her how to fire a gun. How to punch and kick effectively. He taught her how think like the enemy for the benefit of the greater good. If she’d struggled at all Omri was prepared to pull the plug on the operation.

But Aly was a natural. So now Omri is wife’s handler, with his younger sister in law proving her usefulness in surprising ways. Last I wrote for them, I put his life in Sylver’s hands.

They’ll be meeting Pete Drummond within the next couple chapters. Hopefully you’ll be there for it. :)

In Honor of Humans returning...

IIII’vve decided that if I’m going to take a break from writing *the novel* for any fanfiction at all, it’s gonna be for Humans.

Partly because you lovelies keep giving my stories kudos after three long years, but mostly because I’d like to bounce from one UK-based story (Avalon) to another. Also I just really want to continue a universe where Pete Drummond is alive and I really like writing on the American side for epileptic Omri Levinson and autistic Sylver Keene.

Also I just got demoted in responsibilities at work so !more free time!

Also ready for more of these two (plus Creepy Corwin haha)

This isn’t the first novel I thought I’d publish, but I’m glad it is.

Just a lil reminder

Hey guys, just wanted to point out some awesomeness I’ve been sharing via my new Riverdale blog.

I’m posting reviews, self-created fan music videos, and I’m working on a Christmas fic that will for now be posted exclusively on Tumblr.

It might not seem like a lot, but new stuff gets added every week, if not daily. Stuff like my episode commentary, and throwback fanfic links, and music videos surrounding both storylines (Nightingale/December Song) and ships (Crazy Youngsters).

What’s coming up is even better. From Bughead (Song #3 by Stonesour) to Cheronica (Escape My Mind by Grace VanderWaal), plus a little Hozier (Arsonist’s Lullaby) for a tribute to the parents, I’m bound to have competition for my fic-writing time. But I’m still determined to give Riverdale the Christmas we should have seen, and the Moose/Kevin scene we should have had.

UPDATE: the most accurate test online I know is at 16personalities. 

If you are self aware enough you don’t need a test (we did it as a discussion exercise back in university) but I have also found 16personalities to be the best and most informative. It got me down to a T.

Huh.I got ENTP on 16 personalities. I got a hard tertiary Te that comes out more thanks to my career/discipline but the spirit of ENFP fits.

Hands down the most bughead song there is imo. 

But for it to work we would need some more angst beforehand… like them fighting because Betty finds out how much jug has really been keeping from her and she walks off looking very disappointed. After standing there frustrated that he once again fucked up he runs after her and catches her arm and when she turns around he just looks at her and has this heartbreaking expression telling her he’s sorry and hugs her and… okay I might actually right this now. 

Kiss Me - Ed Sheeran. Sweet, beautiful, slightly painful, gorgeous.

Beautiful - Me’shell Ngedeocello. Same. But slower, more tender.

If we want to go SUPER META, “Kissing You” by Des’ree, which is a clear and very obvious reference to Romeo and Juliet.

“Maybe Tomorrow” -Stereophonics. One Tree Hill fans will recognise this from one of Lucas and Peyton’s super hot scenes. It’s pretty damn sexy.

Oh god. I’d DIE if they used “Kissing You”. All my young Leo + Romeo + Cole feels would make my heart burst.

I would really love “the words” by Christina Perri. “I know. The scariest part is letting go. This love is a ghost you can’t control. I promise you the truth can’t hurt us now. So let the words slip out of your mouth.”

Though to be honest, they might not give us a song at all. They might use the instrumental music they used for the kiss in 1x08 and the “i love you” scene. Which I would also be super ok with.
