‘ i’m not sad. ’ he turns his head timidly ; golden eyes flickering momentarily up from his phone & over toward his father with a huff. does he look angry all the time? did dae think he was upset? upon such notion , his expression softens to a shimmering calm. ‘ i’m just thinking about work. there’s this… new intern… that keeps bothering me. i dunno what to do about him. he’s getting a little annoying. ’ not really. he just keeps thinking about him , & soowon doesn’t like it.

there’s no shame in just blocking people. there’s no shame in just deleting messages in your inbox that you don’t want to or can’t answer. it’s easy to feel like you have to acknowledge and respond to every person who addresses you on this website but you absolutely do not, and you should not if it’s negatively impacting your mental health.

If there was someone who would always show him undying support, it was Hayun. “Plenty, oh yes,” he replied, lips curling upwards into a gentle smile. “I’m going down to Busan tomorrow to check out some venues for my newest clients. Want to tag along? You might need to pretend being my assistant, or something. Just in case.”

dana blinked at that reaction, a little bit surprised by it – even if perhaps she shouldn’t have been. however, after a moment, the girl just smiled and nodded. “ mm. i know you can pay for yourself but i still want to. it’s no big deal~ it’s not like you’re gonna spend a lot anyway, right? ” she joked lightly, letting out a laugh. “ okay, we have a deal then ” dana didn’t like letting people pay for her things either but it was only fair if she was buying charlotte food now. just once wouldn’t hurt.
“SO I GOTTA HOLD BACK? ‘nd here I thought I was gonna be able t’stuff myself ‘til I can’t walk anymore.” Nothing but a jest, of course. Charlotte would never bleed Dana dry like this, not even if she offered. She joined in on the laughter, face scrunching up with the intensity of it.
“Just messin’ with ya. I can hold back.” Hands still clasped around Dana’s, she tugged her with her, walking backwards. “How long’s yer practice gonna be? Maybe I’ll get somethin’ tiny now ‘nd another somethin’ tiny fer when I’m watchin’ you. Just in case.”
