3. Illustration for a fic I am writing (spanish only… for now). After the war, Uryuu ends at the infirmary of the 4th division. Quincy are know to consume vast quantities of reishi, however since he is one of the strongest ones and the new emperor, the amount of reishi he needs is massive, thus being the reason why he can’t leave Soul Society, he would die in the living world in his current state.
Orihime and Isane are just being able to heal the most critical injuries, and restore just very little of his own power for him to keep breathing on his own.
Certain day after seeing orihime finally falling into a slumber due to exhaustion by watching over him (since the day the war ended, she never left his side) , his friends took that chance to take her to another room so she could rest properly.
It proved to be a big mistake. Uryuu’s reiatsu faltered and got out of control, alarming his friends and the captains, Orihime awoke at that very moment, scared and almost broke down the door of her room thinking Uryuu was in danger. The moment she set a foot on uryuu’s room, his reiatsu calmed inmediately.
Since then, Ichigo and the others have found Orihime sleeping next to him, because that calms Uryuu a lot.
