Another starter!!

Emboar in Fia are incredibly laid back Pokemon, known for an incredible kindness and tolerance. They're a favorite among people who frequent the deserts to the southeast because of their incredible tolerance of the heat.

They prefer to lay around, eat, and soak up the hot sun more than anything! They also like collecting colorful keepsakes and mementos on their tails! If you give an Emboar a wearable trinket it'll take care of it forever.

Inspired by outdoor music festivals and the people who go them!

Fia's starter Pokemon have their own unique evolutions!

Fian Primarina are known for being particularly aggressive beach bullies. They're large and highly territorial over their beaches. Some say, though, that if you offer them a pearl that matches the color of their decorative strings they'll leave you alone long enough for you to get out of the way. The more pearls a Primarina has, the higher their status on the beach.

Inspired by California sea lions!

Fian Nidoran line! There's only one kind of Nidoran in Fia! They're an entirely genderless species.

The entire line is known for their incredibly potent poison. Nidoran like hiding among tall yellowed grass and wheat fields, where they camoflauge almost perfectly. Watch your step!

Fian Swablu and Altaria! Its said that Altaria bring powerful storms along with them while they fly, but in times of drought spotting one is considered very good luck. They've become quite rare sights as of late.

Wild Swablu aren't afraid of human touch, but beware! Their fluff is full of static that can knock you back if you try to pet it.

Loosely inspired by California quail!

The last region map is literally 10 years old... it desperately needed an update.

The only labeled version is a printout I have physically, and honestly thank god for that. Most of the names and locations were already there.

But here's a map of the Fia Region!

Fian Wailord! Much smaller than the Hoenn native Wailord, but they have a powerful layer of protection growing on their bodies that's actually another living organism! Thanks to Wailmer growing corals from a Corsola's polyps.

Inspired by Humpback whales and the barnacles growing on them!

Banddet! The Fian evolution of Sentret!

Did you know that ferrets are illegal to own in California?

Banddet are often owned by punks, ne'er-do-wells, miscreants, and the like and are popular for their mischievous and bold personalities as well as their flashy appearance!

Wild Banddet dye their fur with different pigments based on personal taste! Trainers raising a Banddet often have similar tastes in color.

A revamp of my old Shellos and Gastrodon regional variants! The old ones are exactly around 5 years old...

They're based on the Pikachu nudibranch, the Sea Bunny/Sheep nudibranch, and the Blue Dragon nudibranch
