Too many flowers to pollinate

WIP/Line Art: MerMay

I haven’t posted anything in forever, because this experiment I’m trying for MerMay is teaching me a bunch of things. But the least I can do for now is to share the line art with you.

Here is Kristine in an au. Kristine the mermaid. I was inspired by some smaller fish with flowing tails for her design.

a size shifter (with semi control of their size) who gets in an argument with their friend, sized up to be taller than their friend by a foot due to their anger.

the friend retorts with a personal jab and the size shifters eyes immediately well up and they start losing height, quick, much to their dismay.

the size shifters face flushes and angered tears roll down as they lose their physical intimidation and control of their size

the size shifter turns to run away from the encounter, holding their shirt to cover themselves as theyre now probably around 2 ft tall.

their friend realizes immediately they went too far and immediately scoops the size shrinker up like a toddler and begins profusely apologizing while the size shifter squirms aggressively before giving up and finally wrapping their small limbs around their friend like a koala~

Probably one of the dumber things I've made lol.

@rosella35 recently released a new chapter for her GT story 'Borrowed Courage' where a girl discovers that the guy who had been bullying her was actually an up-sized borrower. Although he tries to befriend her to make amends, she wants very little to do with him This is sort of how I imagined an interaction between the girl, Brooke, and the borrower, Kaleb, would go when he's at his regular size.

It's not 100% to how I think each character actually looks in the story, I just sort of work with the stuff I had when make renders. If you're good at modelling and sculpting you can make people look exactly how you want. I'm not good at modelling or sculpting.
