(urwendi) Arien was used to Tilion's ship steering far too close to hers, yet today she has the feeling that something was not quite right. She stood at the very back, so that she could just about see it.
"Tilion? Are you there?" Nobody else could be there, surely?
Endymion's attention had been caught by a ship that seemed to be sailing with no one aboard. It was the matter of a wave of his hand before he could step aboard, looking about curiously before he heard the unfamiliar voice calling out an equally unfamiliar name.
He poked his head out to see who was speaking. "Who is Tilion?" he asked, wondering if that was who should have been on this vessel.
"Is he not there?" There was some alarm in Arien's voice. How long had he been gone? Was that why the ship had come this close? "Who are you?" Had the Valar sent another Maia in his stead? No, it was impossible. She would have been warned, surely? "Are you a servant of Morgoth?" The thought that her friend had been attacked and killed filled her with dread.
"I just saw an empty ship and came to investigate," Endymion defended himself. The words this stranger said were understandable, but that didn't mean he was following her meaning with what he imagined were names. He took a careful step closer, keeping a close eye on her in case she took the motion as a threat. "My name is Endymion. Who are you?"

“You have already seen two of my favorite spots: the chamber with my gazing crystal, and my garden,” Endymion answered before looking a bit thoughtful. He had created this palace when he had been young, using naught but his imagination and power. Since then he had reshaped bits, but nothing came to mind that might interest the elf at his side. “Would you like to see my throne room? It is where the Stars come to see me and I hold court.”
“I see,” Thranduil smiled at the other and nodded. “I would like that a lot. I don’t see many other throne rooms. Normally I send my son and a delegation to represent my people and I. The last one was the dwarves but that has been many years since then.”
"Throne room it is," Endymion declared, taking Thranduil's hand in his own and tugging him down the hall. It only took a handful of moments before they entered a cavernous hall.
The walls were made of a milky stone hung with intricately woven tapestries showing various celebrations dedicated to him. The ceiling was dark and sparkled with small lights that mirrored the Stars in the heavens, showing they were all in their positions for the day. At the front of the chamber sat his throne made a clear crystal containing swirls of shimmering light that mirrored his mood when he sat upon it.
"Here it is," he declared, releasing his friend's hand to sweep his arms wide in a gesture to the whole room. "My throne room. It toom me much time to create."
