Hi, Iโm doing just fine! Here I was thinking there were no questions, Tumblr was just eating up messages as per usual.
School has been rough right now as we approach exams, but Iโve been doing my best to work on Cadeau when I can. When I canโt get to the editor, Iโm writing for future projects!

Oooh boy, I have to wonder what's up with that mysterious woman! Is she gonna be like the Strange Boy from Pocket Mirror?
Not at all actually! As much as we love Strange Boy.
Her backstory will be quite human-- and you will see her vulnerabilities as well as her strengths. (you might even feel bad for her! ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ )
Not much will be said, as her and one other character will be a driving force for the story, and it would be a shame to spoil it~

This year (2020)! We will be giving a date as soon as we know for sure.
Hi! The art in the maps for your project is seriously stunning! Not to mention your character designs. Especially like the Botanist's outfit. It's cool to see how your art has progressed over development...if I may ask, how many endings can players expect to be able to find over the course of Cadeau? Will the player be able to save using the coin Charlotte receives from her Admirer? Will the project be free when it's complete? Can't wait for the colossal wonders that will be the full game!

Your ending is indicated by how many coins you recieved throughout gameplay. You get these items by treating people with kindness, being true to yourself, or being a jerk. It's up to you! We don't judge.
There will be a total of 4 endings, one is "Good" one "Bad" one "True." (As well as an Easter egg ending that I will not be disclosing how to get ๐)
How you will save is honestly still being debated. We will most likely go for save points post testing, but if anyone has ideas for what the save point could be, let us know! We'd love to hear ideas!
And last but not least, yes, Cadeau will be 100% FREE!!

Iโve been in programming hell for the past few months, but Iโm proud to say that the fruits of my labor are pretty heckin sweet. Iโm more inspired and optimistic than Iโve ever been for this game, and Iโm so excited to do and share more.
I hope you can forgive me for my radio silence, but the task of having to make recurrent and consistent updates is very difficult for me-- and I often find it easier to simply work. So if I โdisappearโ for a while, I assure you that Iโve probably just curled myself into a ball of variables.
Nonetheless, Iโm going to be trying a lot harder to communicate with you guys and keep you posted! I appreciate your endless love and support, and for sticking around through all of this. Weโre still working hard! <3

How interested would you all be about an illustration book? It would consist of the various sketches and art progression of busts, character designs, CGโs, etc.
As well as being an illustration book it would also most likely go into detail about the production of Cadeau from original concept all the way to game design! It would include character info, a secrets that wonโt be revealed in the full game, art that never even saw the light of day, etc!
This, of course, would be put out after the release of the game-- but Iโm just curious as to what you all think? โ ( แ ใโ )_
Oh, and btw-- Iโll be posting a few screenshots and updates later today. Most of the production nowadays is eventing and map-making, since stuff like mechanics are all ironed out already. Updates from now on will almost entirely be maps from now on, but I think youโll like them nonethelessโฐ(*ยด๏ธถ`*)โฏ

Messing around with a new style as well! Not the hugest fan of the nose, but Iโll work with it.

It is! Weโre working hard on our end.
As of completion percentage, I'll say this: Weโre still in early-ish development. When we come out of early dev, Iโll make a big ol post and talk about all the stuff weโve gotten done and how cool our members are and yada yada yada. Itโll be fun.
