Part 2 of my Korean wall photos. Enjoy :)
What a lovely evening! I spent some time with a very special person on this cold night in Seoul!
Location: Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul
I was planning a vacation to Korea (the first time visiting in 2 years), and I had to cancel my plans due to the Corona Virus. Words can’t really describe how disappointed I am, but know that I’ll be back to visit again someday. Love to my friends and family living over there :)
Hey y’all! It has been a very long time since my last post. As you can probably tell, I don’t live in Korea anymore. I decided to move back to Asheville, North Carolina, USA for a lot of reasons. While I love Korea, and while it has a place in my heart, I wasn’t growing as an individual anymore and knew it was time for me to come home.
I have been home for a little over a year, and I am having a hard time these days because I miss the place that turned me into a man. I miss the friendships that I cultivated, the students that I taught to speak English, and the memories that I made. I haven’t been good at posting on here over the last year because I didn’t know what to post. I’m going to start putting photos up again, in hopes that I can re-connect with my past in Korea, and so that you all can see some more of Korea!
In other news, I’m working on a literal Korea Lookbook, which will be for sale in about a year! My hope for the book is for those who have followed this blog can know more about the photos, and so that they can feel what I felt and continue to feel when I think about lovely South Korea. More to follow :)
The photo is of me and my special lady, Annie :) If anyone knows a single girl in Asheville, hmu :p
Nothing to do with Korea but if you were to go on a date what would make it perfect?
If I was going to go on a date, I would probably want to go rollerblading or swimming, then eat some tacos and have an adult beverage :)
Took this one about 2 years ago! On one cold night I went out and got some photos next to the river!
Location: South side of the Han River, facing Namsan.
Evening rush. I took this about 3 years ago and just found it!
Location: Amsa Station, Seoul
This was the first photo that I took before I left for Korea, 4 years ago.
4 years went by too quickly, and choosing to move back to the U.S. was the hardest choice of my life. I left my friends, and newly found family, and memories behind me. Korea will always have a place in my heart, and I will always stay loyal to the friends and family that I made while I was there. I have hundreds of photos that I will continue to post, so don’t worry! If you ever have any questions about Korea, please ask me! I am an expert!
This place was so beautiful!! One of my favorite shots.

Delicious! I had this for lunch a few days ago! 콩나물국밥 (Beansprout Rice Soup)
Location: Ilsan
So here’s the recipe for one of my favorite dishes! This is beef raddish stew! My friend helped me make it, and this is his family recipe!
Ingredients: beef, raddishes, green onions, salt, garlic, soy sauce, and water. 1. Simmer the oil in a pot 2. cook the beef 3. Mix salt and garlic (not too much garlic) 4. mix in the raddishes 5. put some soy sauce in the mixture 6. add water 7. keep on the stove until raddishes are soft! 8. add salt if it is not salty enough! 9. serve in a bowl and top with green onions! 10. goes well with more meat on the side! ENJOY!~
I went back to the farm a few weeks ago! Stay tuned for more!
