Toy Story had such a strong impression on me as a child. I was exactly the same age as Andy and it was so magical. I’ve watched all of Pixar’s output since then and it continues to amaze me.

“I was trying not to wake you,” you whispered after a moment, looking down at your hands as they pulled at the hem of your (his) sweater.

“I wish you had,” he said moving up to sit beside you on the couch.  He put one arm around you and took your hand in the other, “You know you can talk to me. Even if you have to wake me up at 3 in the morning, I’m right here.” He spoke softly, his still groggy voice soothing you.
