Tabitha Lovell, the twin sister of Talbot, was sent to the Circle of Magi at Lake Calenhad, Ferelden. Prior to their stepmother finding out and sending them both away after the suspicious death of their father, Tabitha lived at the family estate where they concealed her abilities from the public. She is but one of many that die due to the events in Origins at the Circle.

Alternative Storyline:

Surviving the ordeal at the Circle, Tabitha goes on to become a Senior Enchanter, and one of the youngest to achieve such a rank. Using her knowledge and intelligence to aid both the Mages and Templars, Tabitha aims to breach the conflict between the two and those who see nothing but their stigmas. This goal is shattered much like the Temple of Sacred Ashes, where the conclave was held between warring Templars and mages.

Personality and Traits:

Contrary to her twin brother and older sister, Tabitha does not shun or rebel against tradition or those who stand by it. Instead she hopes to find ways to improve the relationship of modern society with old. She is benevolent, always willing to lend an ear or more to those who need it, yet also stern and to the point when the time calls for it.

Role In the Inquisition:

Researcher of the Inquisition, and Mediator of the Mages should the Inquisitor pick them over the Templars.

PASSION. It lies in all of us. Sleeping… waiting… and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir… open its jaws and howl. It speaks to us… guides us. Passion rules us all. And we obey. What other CHOICE do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of LOVE … the clarity of hatred… the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we’d know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we’d be truly dead.”

⸺ 𝐋𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄 had helped rosalie find the perfect dress. lady nightingale especially seemed excited to look at pretty dresses and shoes, although frustrated that they weren’t for herself. after weeks trying to convince cullen to let her attend, she finally did it. and there she WAS. and it would have already been perfect enough if it was just that, but the fact talbot was with her made everything more magical.
rosalie was a different person because of him. braver, more confident and just a little more realistic about the world. thankfully, however, she didn’t have to change a whole lot because he LIKED her the way she was. and he was enough of everything she could never be, keeping her from flying too close to the sun.
she put her mask on and placed a hand on top of his own as he touched her stomach.  ❝ i will be. i promise. ❞ even though everyone else was very NERVOUS about the interactions they were about to have inside the winter palace, rosalie felt like she was in her element.  ❝ will you save me a dance? after you are done WORKING, that is. ❞

The carriage rocks as it turns a corner, they’ll be there… Soon. Too soon for Tal’s liking. Worry eats away at him inside, not only for her but for what she’ll learn of him. This wasn’t how he wanted it to come about… His free hand covers hers and he whispers, “You may hear things.. About me. About what I’ve-- What I did as a Templar. And as a man.” He swallows, searching her doe eyes and taking in how beautiful she is in this moment, “I should have told you sooner but there’s no time and--”

They stop moving, it’s too late. The very least he can do is do his part and not show her up any further than his reputation might permit. Taking a deep breath he brings her gloved hand up to his lips and lays a kiss upon it. “I love you--Both.” He looks down fleetingly at her stomach, “More than anything.” A moment that should be full of smiles and carefree joy was anything but; he’s on edge, his eyes are sharper and his posture rigid. The entire journey he’d been preparing himself for battle.

As the door to their carriage opens and the man steps aside, Talbot steps out and offers Rosalie his hand, mindful of how she’s exiting the carriage. He won’t see her fall or stumble. He wants to give Rosalie this moment; to shine in splendour out in the open, to allow her wings to stretch and her will to soar. She’d been cooped up for far too long.

Closed Starter for @honnleathrose | The Winter Palace

The Winter Palace cuts a shape into the very sky itself looming in the distance. If there’s one thing the Orlesians made sure of it was that they weren’t overlooked. Ever since it first came into view, Talbot has been staring out of the carriage window at the towering silhouette with a sombre look etched into his face; memories of his time spent in Orlais began flooding back to him - not many of which he looks back on with fondness. He had the suspicion they might come back to haunt him but he hadn’t anticipated it being quite this soon.

Rosalie sits next to him; their hands entwined whenever she isn’t worrying over whether she's presentable enough for the Ball. Talbot had to smile at that. Of all the things to be worried about she’s concerned about how she looks. She is quite the picture and it takes a great deal of resolve not to kiss her as it would surely smear her makeup. If only he could think of the little things more often, to try and put his worries to bed; he can’t help but think about all the possible ways this could go wrong. Regardless; she wants to have fun and who is he to stop her?

Slipping his hand free from hers he moves it up to rest upon her stomach. Even if she’s trapped behind the confines a corset he likes being in close proximity to the small bump; so he can feel the life inside of her that he had helped create. Talbot had lost his family when he was but a boy, and here he was beginning a new one; one of his own making. Perhaps it had shown on his face; how awestruck he is at becoming a father when he’d never given it much thought himself. With them sneaking around for months on end it was inevitable as much as it was a blessing.

Just as Rosalie is dressed for the occasion, so is he, in a very elaborate red just like the Inquisitor, Cullen, and the other members of the Inquisition. Red isn’t a dreadful colour for Talbot’s complexion; in fact, it seems to agree with him. Blonde hair combed back and clean-shaven; he is very handsome compared to the rugged look he prefers whilst travelling. In his lap lay a mask similar to Rosalie’s and yet he doubts he’ll wear it. His face, and name, were known amongst the populace and he has no intention of hiding.

“Please be careful,” he asks her, blue eyes searching hers, almost pained; the thought of anything befalling the woman he loves and his unborn child was something even he couldn’t predict. Least of all how he’d respond to it. “I may not always be there to…” He thought better than to use the word ‘protect’, even if they’re about to enter a tiger’s den, “Keep you company.”
