Up till this point (probably August 2012), the only track I had heard from Lana Del Rey was Video Games. Mind you I had heard all the commotion about her SNL performances, rumours of surgery and general awkwardness on stage. Nevertheless I never really bothered to even give her album a listen. Yep, it tends to be a reoccuring thing with me.
One morning I was on my phone in the kitchen with my mum & grandma chatting when I decided to check this song out on tumblr. I can remember being so mesmerised and had this on repeat for the whole day. And imagine my surprised when I downloaded her album and discovered this remix version retains the structure of the original with the addition of extra beats and of course, Jay-Z’s verses.
It was that moment when I became a LDR fan and it turned out to be one of my favourite albums of that year.

The 1st poster for the long awaited Black Widow movie. And honestly I couldn't be more excited. Especially being that's she always been one of my favorite Avengers. A super assassin and spy among some of the most powerful people in the Marvel universe capable enough of holding her own against the world and universe's deadliest villains. Without any super serum, godlike powers of thunder, gamma radiation or super tech. All of which are great things to have. And in no way a knock to rest of the Avengers. Lol. But just saying, she speaks volume to her level of skill, combat and intelligence. All while being a badass heroine who doesn't have to be constantly told she powerful woman. Because we all know and it's obvious.
