I spent some time today traversing old hallways of my blog.

There were good times.

There were bad.

I just feel kinda weird now. Memories and feelings and the awareness of things fading. Of joys no longer engaged in, and battles long forgotten.

Same feeling, 2 years later.

My guild in BDO is hosting an RP event, and I wrote a profile for BDO!Elby. I felt like revisiting this blog to dust Elby off. I spent quite some time in the last few days going through old things. I miss RP and fic-writing with cool people.

It was a good time, overall.

I don’t know if I’ll return to writing or RP like I used to, although I miss it. The activity itself, yes. But the people too. Part of me would like to resurrect some of those friendships, but part of me wonders if the past is best left in the past.

If anyone’s wondering, I’m doing better.

Man, I’ve been in a weird Life Day mood.

So I’ve spent close to uh, two years now??? Ish??? Off Tumblr. Mostly, I’ve been gaming other games (Black Desert Online, Civilizations series, Shadow of Mordor, etc.) and having cross-over SWTOR daydreams all along.

(Which, most of it is better kept as daydreams. I like it better in my head, where it’s not seeking peer-approval and getting disappointed.)

I find myself wanting to make art and whatnot again, with my characters who have evolved somewhat in the meantime. One thing I hated about keeping a regular blog is, oddly, their development seems to have stagnated.

And yes, still obsessed with Talos Drellik. I don’t think that one’s leaving any time soon. Cross-over daydreams with him are pretty cool, tbh. The headcanon police frown on independent development of canon characters, but I’m glad (again) that I no longer feel pressured to seek their peer approval.

Just an update. Back into hiding.

The best fighter in Free Ryloth.

Just did a quick make-up test for Numa over on instagram. Pretty pleased overall, though there are a few things to tweak in the future. The kerchief is just calico toile as I haven’t screenprinted the fabric yet. I’m hoping to get the armour done sometime in the next week or two. (and now that I have a Clone helmet I had to invoke the Feels, even it we’ll just ignore that it’s an ARC helmet.)
