This world is not a life we are living, but a fight we are giving. And it is not until all have been saved, and the enemy defeated, when we'll truly start living.

This is a summary of a thought that was going through my head some number of nights ago. I was thinking about how in the instances where people have gone to Heaven, they mention how Heaven feels more like the reality whereas life here on Earth feels more like a dream in comparison. So I was wondering to myself, "If that is our intended life, then why are we going through this existence here on Earth if this is not our life?". And this is the thought that popped into my head when I asked that question: That this life here on Earth is meant more as a fight. Not a fight necessarily for ourselves, but fighting for our lost family members. Why did Jesus make it so adamant that we are to spread the gospel? It is because there are still family members out there in the world who are lost and need to be brought back home. That each life that is born here on Earth might be raised into a heavenly soldier that can fight for those who are still lost and wayward. Think about it. If everyone here on Earth was saved, what would be the point? Our work would be done. If everyone on Earth had full-hearted faith based in Christ, what struggles would remain? We as children of God must continue to live as long as possible here on this Earth because this is the fight that is still going on since the beginning of time, and will not end until every child is brought back home. If God would go out of his way to seek out just one lost lamb, that resonates the passion that He has to seek out every lost child of his. It resonates the passion we have for every person we love but has gone astray. If someone we loved got lost out in the woods somewhere, would we not rest until we knew of their whereabouts? Until they were brought back home? It is when our fighting is done that we finally get to return back to our true home. This was just an encouraging thought on my end. On one hand, it makes me reside in the peace and joy of what our true reality is supposed to be like, but on the other hand it also gives me the encouragement to keep living in the struggles of this life here on Earth, because there's good reason for us to be here. It is because our loved ones are still out there, missing and hurting. And those of us who know how to get home, need to help others who cannot see in the darkness they are in; to help show them how to get back home.

Had an idea to make another singing video, this one based on the 100 Years song by OR3O on YouTube. I think it was a year or two ago when I listened to that song, and while it was incredibly catchy, it made me super emotional. I did not like the idea of this guy forever pining after a woman who had left him. I thought about making my own female counter cover with a separate character to serve as a new love interest for him. This is the full sketch compilation I have of that character so far as I was trying to decide on what her design should look like. I've settled on a concrete design, and I've also recorded all the singing bits, but that's as far as I've gotten. While I hope to make this a project I finish, I don't know if I actually will or how long it might take given the emotional weight I have attached to this song. For some context: Her name is Dahlia, she loves flowers and always wanted a romantic relationship but died very early in her life. After her death, she was drawn towards George who had such a devoted heart and wished for one day to be able to share how much he meant to her.

Okay, it’s like one minute to midnight according to my computer’s clock, SO I’M STILL ON TIME!

I had this pop into my head the night before St. Patrick’s Day, and I was working all day to get it done possibly on time. WHICH I TECHNICALLY DID.

Let the records show that I ABSOLUTELY HATE the “tradition” of someone being pinched if they’re not wearing green on this holiday. If we’re going to pinch someone for their “fashion sense”, let it at least be reasonable like if someone’s wearing their pants too low.

Also I hope you all had a good St. Patrick’s Day. :)

No pinching people. It’s not nice.

Saw this prompt on Twitter. Thought it'd be a fun and quick bit of easy fun to fill out.

I'll attach the original (unfilled) prompt image file here.

Hopped back onto an old project I was doing with my friend (@thegroovyfeline) where we sketch out a comic and let the other person finish based off that sketch. It's probably been over a year at this point and I still haven't finished it. 😅 But I'm hoping to change that. Anyways this is a poster prop design I made for one of the panels. Context: The comic is based on a couple of my friend's OCs who used to be part of a magic and aviation act. The characters are vintage, black and white cartoon insects, so for the poster I wanted to capture a design reminiscent of the 1920s.
