It’s been one year.

It’s been one year since we’ve embarked on this quest to save our beloved hairy chicken leg. And to think just yesterday, I was profusely sobbing into my pillow over this unfortunate turn of events. Might have been yesterday, actually... I’m not going to bother gong over what happened in the last year, ‘cause it should be damn well obvious to all of us in the fandom, so here I’ll give my personal thoughts on this whole escapade.

I’m practically the only person in the whole fandom that thinks this isn’t going to work, but trust me, I have seen progress. I remember @peepsqueak reporting that Disney was taking a look at some SaveWOY blogs. So I don’t want to label it as a success since we haven’t gotten a Season 3, but I don’t want to label it as a failure either, since we have been getting some WOY merch and Disney have been taking notice. I mean, no Wander plushies yet, but better than nothing, right?

I personally wish the best of luck to all those still fighting for our favorite star nomad, zbornak, eyeball man and skeleton dork. If you want to read some more recent things I’ve been doing recently, do so here:

Basically, that’s all I have to say. Fight the good fight, dearest fandom. This is only the beginning.

I'm starting over.

As you’re probably aware, I’ve been gone for quite some time. No posts either here or on my other blog. And that’s simply because I’ve ran out of steam to keep going like this. So I’ve made the decision to completely start over and repurpose my blog.

My personal blog (platyfanatic1) will soon become a personal diary of sorts. A place for me to freely express my thoughts and generally post whatever the hell comes to mind. If you’ve been on my twitter page, more of that here. Maybe some art occasionally, but generally a dumping ground for my fucked up little mind.

As for my other, more fandom-y sideblog (oocwoy)… I’m still sticking with my plan of leaving it be for historical purposes. I wish the best of luck to those still fighting for a season 3 after all this time.

Of course, you can unfollow my blog and such, I won’t care. For now, since it’s a new year and all, I’m trying to repurpose this thing.

So, hey. I’m back.

Chances are I’ll be posting less often than I used to, but I’ll still be here. I might open up admin applications soon so that this blog will be a bit more active.

What I meant to say earlier is that I have felt the true and utter pointlessness of the #SaveWOY debacle hit me like a bus when I felt like taking a break for a while. As if we can phase Robert Iger in the slightest. Despite this, I wish the best of luck to all you wandering weirdos still fighting for Season 3.

Guess I have some explaining to do.

Hello everyone. My name is Jax and I am the only owner and operator of the OOCWOY fan blog. You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting at all lately. That is because both personal matters and other interests have been taking over more of my time, and as such I have not found much time to track down episodes to post about, while also doing so in a way that supports the show legally. Due to all these complications, I am announcing my retirement from this blog.

I will still leave it up for others to view my posts, but no new posts will be made. If you want to see some more recent posts about what’s happening with my life now and my other interests, my personal Twitter page is where to check:
