starman, a tribute to luke skywalker
Luke Skywalker, was a Force-sensitive who helped defeat the Galactic Empire and found the New Republic. Born in 19 BBY as the son of the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the Senator of Naboo, Padmé Amidala, Luke was raised on Tatooine and hidden from Emperor Palpatine and his father, who had become Darth Vader. In 0 BBY, Skywalker’s life changed forever. A chance purchase of two droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO, led to him to receive training in the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and to meet Han Solo, and Princess Leia Organa, who was, unbeknownst to him, his twin sister. Skywalker then destroyed the first Death Star and joined the Rebel Alliance. (x)

But, I’ve learnt so much since then, Master Yoda. I promise to return and finish what I’ve begun. You have my word.
star wars rotj au where everything is the same except luke wears the denim ensemble mark hamill wore in the 70′s and 80′s. right before he dies, anakin asks luke why he’s dressed like dexy from dexy’s midnight runners.
It’s not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they’re not much bigger than two meters.
happy birthday wes @skywalkrs ily! ♥

luke skywalker + tumblr tags, part 2/?
THIS is what Luke Skywalker was doing during Rogue One:
working down to the bone on his uncle’s farm starting at dawn; dreading the heat of the day; racing through beggar’s canyon with Biggs (imagine: he and Biggs are drunkenly steering their speeders through Beggar’s Canyon, swerving into each other and whooping with laughter); chasing after Womp Rats in his T-16; hiding in his homestead with his model x-wing; going somewhere private to hurt when he hears Biggs is leaving for the Academy, and he’s almost the last one left; sometimes, something silvery and searingly bright hits his peripheral vision, a starship glinting off the suns. he abandons his chores and races out into full sunlight, pulling out his binoculars, but he can’t see much. he sighs, loping back into the shade. gazing out at the twin sunsets at dusk, he keeps telling himself, year after year, someday, someday, someday.
