hi friends! still updating my game and everything but bc i can’t afford to get the new pack rn and i anxiously hyperfixate on any part of a collection i don’t have, i’m also spending time on the other stuff i’ve been up to lately, and figured maybe i’d share a lil glimpse of a blanket i’ve been making for my bed ☺️ i found a nice way to get a ribbed effect that looks knitted but is actually crocheted and i’m using a really nice and soft cotton yarn and i just love it hehehe. i’m probably about halfway done with it at the moment - this is by far the longest/largest crochet project i’ve taken on but it’s such a simple stitch and the process is really meditative and soothing so i don’t mind the slow progress. anyways here’s a lil picture of the texture lkadjssklfjal i’m sure most of you don’t care but i love it and am proud of it so what the hell i’m sharing it hehe

kinda feeling an urge to attempt a return to simblr and sims and cc but am nervous about dealing with my anxiety and ocpd as i start the process of updating the game and mods and cc and having to see new packs that came out while i’ve been gone that i def cannot afford rn sa;lfdjkahsdlfajk but i miss u guys and i wanna get back into this

first time logging in in idk a few months i think? i feel like saying sorry for suddenly disappearing isn’t going to mean anything to anyone but i’m still gonna say it bc it’s true? the idea of trying to catch up on all the new content and reconnecting with everyone i love is really overwhelming me already and the social anxiety is paralyzing lsdkjfkla and ofc this is why it’s been so hard for me to log back in in the first place....

unfortunately it’s harder to come back each day i stay away because the amount of conversations, content, updates, etc. i’ve missed just grows and grows and feels like more and more of a scary task to face... does that make sense at all? it’s like the same issue i have with not checking my emails for months and then being scared to go through my inbox and catch up...

so i was recoloring peacemaker’s curtains in these gorgeous farmhouse patterns and they were looking FAAABBBUULLOUUSS and then i went on to start the second package and immediately realized why no one has ever recolored these damn curtains in patterns 🙃 since the various curtain heights all use the same counter-height texture, applying a pattern to the texture and using it on a small-, medium-, or tall-height mesh stretches the texture out. which OFC DOESNT MATTER FOR SOLID COLORS BUT MAKES PATTERNS COMPLETE POOPY SO YAY WHAT A GREAT WASTE OF TIME ASDLFAJSDFASSJDF i’m crying
