I always love seeing folks’ webcomic characters in their pride get-ups, and this year I had time to do one for my own! these are the main girls from my webcomic about festive magical girls, @letscelebrate-comic! Nikki and Patricia are out together, probably keeping their eyes open for a celebration related monster, but Nouvelle’s only attending reluctantly with the hope of ditching them both and picking up elsewhere

Hey everyone! It’s been a few months since we checked in, but work on Leg Three is going smoothly, and we have some exciting news to share.

A Week In Warrigilla has been shortlisted for the 2019 Ledger Awards!

You can read the full announcement here,  but in summary: out of 179 nominations for Australian comics released in 2018 (including ones by traditional publishers), AWIW made the top ~25. As such, both of us will be flying to Sydney to attend the Ledger Awards Ceremony on April 26.

We’ll be tweeting the ceremony and providing updates on our travel plans on Twitter, so give us a follow there if you haven’t already!

We also had the honor of being featured on Comicoz for Best Original Australian Comic, which you can read about here.

It means a lot see AWIW reaching people outside the indie comics scene, and it wouldn’t be possible without all of you! Thanks so much to everyone who’s  supported us over the years, and we hope to keep creating for years to come.
