yesterday, you and atsumu had the first fight.

it wasn’t anything big, mainly just a heated argument, but you figured since there was so much pressure on it — the first after your marriage — it was a bit harder to diffuse than usual.

it was hard to diffuse at all. usually when you and atsumu get into arguments, you always come up with a middle ground to agree on, but for some reason, for yesterday, for that heartbreakingly annoying fight, you just couldn’t find a compromise.

the two of you decide it’s best to go to sleep separately, because maybe, space can fix what words can’t — so atsumu takes the bed (you insisted on this) and you take the futon on the floor.

and just like that, the way night becomes morning, your first fight with atsumu, becomes the first night the two of you sleep apart.

“good morning.” his voice is the first thing you hear as you open your eyes.

your gaze fixates on the sudden light, and the first thing you notice, the first thing you wake up to, is atsumu laying straight across from you.

“were you watching me sleep?” you say through yawns, overcoming the urge to stretch your arms above your head.

atsumu laughs, then he takes a second to reply, then another, and another.

he looks at you, “….no.”

and you look at him, tilting your head as you shoot him an unconvinced glance.

and he sighs, “yes.”

you smile, yawning again and telling him with a side eye, “creep.”

you remember two things from the night before; an argument that lead to you pulling out a futon since you decided it’s best to sleep separately, and the aching urge to retract the previous statement since atsumu had all the best pillows.

you remember the cold floor, the lumpy pillow, but you don’t remember atsumu sleeping next to you.

in fact, the whole reason you were on the floor was to be away from atsumu. so what the hell was he doing next to you right now?

“we’re both on the floor.” you point out, turning on your side to face him.

he nods, “yeah.”

and you notice that he isn’t particularly sleeping on anything — just the comforter and a few pillows surrounding him, but nothing really to cushion his body from the ground.

you blink, “aren’t you cold?”

and he tells you, “yeah.”

“did the bed kick you off or something?” you laugh, inching closer to him with your futon, the comforters by your feet reaching out to his space, and he’s comfortable enough to laugh with you.

he shakes his head, “i don’t like sleeping without you.”

and atsumu thinks that he’d rather, in a thousand lifetimes, sleep on the hard, cold floors next to you, than sleep on the most comfortable bed without you.

he’s grown dependent on your warmth, and he’s grown dependent on waking up next to you.

so after hours of tossing and turning on that big, lonesome bed, he chose to drag his blanket and pillows, setting them on the floor close to you, and dozing off the second he has you back in his touch.

he’s grown dependent on you.

and his back hurts like hell.

“i’m sorry for yesterday.” he tells you, breaking his line of thoughts, and he appreciates that the two of you are facing each other right now.

you shrug, “it was bound to happen.”

“are ya still mad?” he asks you, a bit gentler this time, and he’s still unsure of what he’d do if you tell him that you are.

you shake your head, “i don’t think so.”

and atsumu let’s out the breath he didn’t even realize he was holding onto.

you call out to him this time, “are you mad?”

and he tells you, toothy smile and all, “never mad.”

atsumu miya, blunt and mean and cold hearted in high school, could never bring himself to be upset with you, because you’re probably the only person he can’t risk to lose.

“you can be, you know.” you tell him, smiling as you feel his arm on your waist pull you closer.

atsumu, amused, raises a brow, “i can?”

“yeah!” you nod, cheering, voice laced with silence morning laughter, “go throw rocks at a lake or smash a pillow or something.”

and atsumu snickers, “smash a pillow?”

“well, i don’t know, what do people do when they’re mad?” you laugh, pushing him away as he pulls you too close, and before you know it, you’re on the hard, cold floors with him.

your face close to his, his arm right around your waist, and there’s laughter and coldness in the air.

“do you want to iron my clothes?” you smile.

and atsumu looks at you, “ya think people iron other people’s clothes when they’re mad?”

“oh yeah,” you nod, mocking as you continue to say, “especially when they’re angry, i think they might even make breakfast.”

and atsumu laughs, not entirely because he finds you funny, but mostly because it’s five in the morning and you’re already smiling ear to ear close to him.

he asks you, “then, am i mad?”

“furious.” you tell him, nodding, “you might even want to do the dishes after.”

atsumu, still amused from your jokes, pulls you into a kiss, one that matches the morning sun and the lingering smell of love in the air.

toothy kiss, smiley kiss, intimate kiss.

all the frustration from yesterday’s arguments, all the pent up feelings turning into snarky remarks and frowns and the slight change of tone that could be sharp enough to pierce — all gone into the kiss.

he pulls away briefly, “morning.”

and you tell him against his lips, “morning.”

and he’s back to kissing you again. on the floor. cold and barely covered by the white comforters. he kisses you over and over again.

you and atsumu are bound to argue here and there, but in no means will that ever make you less loved by him.

he pulls away, and you smell a lot like love.

“i’m sorry for yesterday.” he tells you, his hands still close on your waist, and you feel the way his heartbeat is jumping out of his chest.

you smile, “you said that already.”

“i don’t want you to leave me.” he says, voice low, and he opts to bury his face in the crook of your neck as he pulls you closer.

your tone softens, “for an argument?”

and he shakes his head against your skin, barely muttering as he peppers bitterly kisses along the nape of your neck to your shoulder, and atsumu says, “for anything.”

because you could do the meanest things to him, the cruelest and the coldest - not that you ever would - but even then, he would still choose you.

you nod, “we’ll be fine.”

In which Hinata Shoyo discovers himself between the two sides and one of them now owes him.

Note: I saw this one fanart of mechanic Hinata and that’s literally where I got the inspiration from. Yes, I also got inspiration from the book Cinder too, I just put a little twist in it.

He was the one that had chosen his job and where he would do it. Hinata had known his budget wasn’t exactly the best thing in the world, but his job would give him enough money to survive each month and every single day.

Once he had found a good place to live, he immediately submitted his application to the place. There was an area underneath the apartment where he could work in and the upper floor of the apartment would be his flat to live in. It came at a fairly cheap price. Unfortunately, the reason it was so cheap was because of the area it was in.

your name

summary: in which you give kuroo a different fake name every time you come into the coffee shop he works at

word count: 2.4k

a/n: i saw this prompt and found it so funny i just had to write something about it

THE SMELL OF COFFEE filled your senses as you and your best friend entered the coffee shop you had been meaning to visit by your campus. You weren’t much of a coffee drinker, but today Aiko had suggested that you accompany her to the café as your friends had pretty good reviews.

“You’re buying me something though.” You poked at her shoulder upon walking in, taking a couple minutes to let your eyes wander around the cozy looking shop.

“We did not go into that agreement!” She hits you in the arm before walking up towards the counter. “Yeah, well we’re having this agreement now.” The initial playful smile on your face was replaced upon meeting the eyes of the barista.

You’re convinced your heart had done a summersault when he smiled at you.

“And suddenly she’s gone quiet. What happened to the agreement?” Mischief was laced in your best friend’s voice.

“I’ll have a cappuccino please, and she will tell hers when she finds her voice again.” You felt your best friend tap you in the back as she moved to look for a seat.

“Uh, I’ll just have the iced chocolate, please.” You awkwardly shift around, looking anywhere but the barista who was quite possibly the most attractive people you have ever seen in your entire life.

“Alright, I’ll need a name, please.” His voice was teasing, as if he had already figured out the little crush you had for him that was blossoming inside of you.

“Little Mermaid.” You swore you had never heard anything as beautiful as his laugh. You would have fallen right then and there if it wasn’t for the immense embarrassment that was bubbling in you.

“Okay Ariel, I’ll call you when your orders are ready.” He gave you a quick wink before heading out to prepare your drinks. “Jesus Christ, You’re so embarrassing. I don’t wanna be associated with you.” Your best friend’s voice snapped you out of your trance and you immediately walked away from the counter towards the little table she was settled at.

“Little Mermaid? Seriously?” She continued to pry, snickering quietly to herself to try and suppress the loud laugh that was threatening to spill out.

“Shut up, he just caught me off guard!” You tried to defend yourself, running a hand down your face before dropping your head down at the table.

Your eyes traveled at his lean figure as he walked around the back of the counter. His shoulders were broad, his shirt fitting him perfectly. You could tell he had a muscular frame from the way his arms were threatening to rip the material of his shirt whenever he moved around.

“You’re drooling.”

You tilted your head to give her a glare before moving back to your original position, admiring him once again. She laughed some more, Aiko never took you seriously.

“Order for Ariel!” He called out, your best friend covering her face out of embarrassment as you approached the counter to get your orders. “Thank you, uh, Kuroo.” You took a quick look at his nametag before giving him a little nod and walking back to Aiko who was already standing and ready to leave.

You handed her the cappuccino before giving your straw little twirl to make sure that your drink didn’t taste odd when you’re close to finishing it later.

“Next time, maybe give me your real name, you’re pretty cute :)”

A smile crept up on your face upon reading the little message he had left on your cup which earns a suspicious glare from your best friend.

On that day, it was Little Mermaid - for the way your voice caught in your throat the first time you laid eyes on Kuroo.

-

You went in the day after to try and redeem yourself. I mean, he was bold enough to leave you a little note, so maybe he was interested too?

“Hello.” You smiled at him once you reached the counter, his lips forming one back upon seeing you had come back.

“Iced chocolate, right? I’d be pretty embarrassed if I got that one wrong.”

“Yes, actually.” You let out a nervous chuckle as he started to prepare your drink.

How did he look much prettier today? His eyes seemed to stick out the most today, and only now were you really able to look at them in detail. In a way, it made him appear intimidating, the way his pupils resembled that of a cat’s. The hazel color was particularly brought out under the light from the coffee shop.

How did the light always hit him the right way?

“And your name?” His eyebrows were lifted up, holding your drink in his hand and testing if you’d finally give up your name to him.

“Garfield”. You settled, and before he could say anything else, the bells rang from the door, bringing his attention to the new customer who had just walked in. A grin graced his face as he handed you your drink.

“I guess I’ll be lasagna then >:)”

A little laugh escaped your lips upon seeing what he had written this time. You turned back to him and raised your eyebrows with an amusing smile. He responded with a wink.

Garfield, for the way his eyes reminded you of a cute feline.

-

The next time you went in, there was a line waiting before you. You stood in the back and tried to peek behind the counter to see if it was Kuroo who was working today. Upon seeing his familiar bedhead, an immediate smile made its way on your lips.

“Chicken Little.”

“This better not be some sly remark about my hair.” He narrowed his eyes at you, feigning being upset with you before he handed you your drink.

“I’d love to chat, but it’s getting a bit busy. Have a nice day, Chicken Little.”

“Are you a chicken because I’m chicken you out ;)”

His comment definitely got a laugh from you. Checking back on him for the last time, he was working on a couple more orders but you didn’t miss the red tint painting his cheeks. You rolled your eyes as you trekked back to your dorm. You walked in to see Aiko with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi who were comfortably sat on your small couch, watching some dumb show that was playing on your television.

“Now someone explain how these two ended up here while I was gone. Mind explaining yourselves?” You stood in front of them, hands on your hips with a joking anger on your face.

“No.” Tsukishima answered, grabbing onto your arm to sit you down so he could continue watching the show.  “How was barista guy? I mean, how was your visit from the coffee shop?” Yamaguchi inquired which earned Aiko a smack. “You told them about him?"

"Yeah, I couldn’t be alone witnessing you embarrass yourself. It makes for good comedic relief. Our lives are too boring as of the moment, so you’re adding a little spice into it, you know?”

“I actually hate all of you.”

“Why am I included?” Yamaguchi defensively replied back at you.

“Because you’re stealing my snacks.” You plopped down beside him to grab the bag of chips that he was previously chewing on.

“Chew with your mouth closed.” Tsukishima said, eyes still trained on the television as you rolled your eyes before mockingly leaning towards Tsukishima, chewing a bit louder than usual.

You were shoved off the couch.

“Let me guess, Chicken Little?”

You heard Tsukishima snicker under his breath. “Shut up!” You stuck your tongue out at them, yanking the cup away from Aiko.

“He’s flirting with you. Is he cute?” Yamaguchi shot his eyebrows up and down, trying to get some details from you.

“Yeah, he was definitely cute and he keeps writing on her cup even with her dumb names, he must really like you.”

“Whatever.”

Chicken Little, because you found his bed head particularly amusing that day.

-

It was a Thursday afternoon when you wandered inside the coffee shop. Today was different though, school work had drained you and you were experiencing an overwhelming feeling of sadness, to which you couldn’t explain why, maybe it was that failed test you had studied so hard for?

You were just tired.

Simply tired that you lived in a world that was so exhausting sometimes. You were tired of uncertainties. Tired of investing so much time into something that turned out to be a failing grade anyway.

Upon seeing you, Kuroo was quick to fix up your usual drink. It was particularly early so no one else was in the coffee shop except for another co-worker who was tending things in the back.

“And your name for today is?”

“I’ll go with Eeyore.”

Kuroo immediately noticed the shift in the air around the both of you. Being highly observant and intuitive really had its perks, plus your choice of name concerned him.

“Hey, are you okay?”

“Just tired.”

“Do you wanna talk about it?” You shook your head and he immediately understood. Kuroo was being incredibly mindful of your current mood, and he didn’t want to drag you out to do something that you didn’t want to.

“It’d be nice to have some company though.” Your voice was meek and Kuroo was quick to step out of the counter to sit you down on a table. It went on like that for a few minutes, and the peaceful trance was broken when he heard a quiet sniffle. His eyes were laced with concern as he sat a bit closer to you, offering his shoulder for you to cry on which you unknowingly accepted.

“I’m sorry, everything’s just been so tiring, and I shouldn’t be taking this out on the cute barista I really enjoy seeing. He might think I’m a weirdo.” Kuroo laughed a little. Even in this mood, you could still goof around.

“Giving up sounds so good right now.” You pulled away from his shoulder, trying to wipe at the wet spot that was on his shirt. “I’m sorry about your shirt.”

“It’s alright, but you know, I advise you give whatever it is another try, go a little slower even, just don’t stop. You’re probably exhausted for all the right reasons, hell, you’re tired because you’re growing and because you’re trying.”

You nodded your head at him, sniffling and wiping at your already dry eyes. “Who would’ve thought you had a way with words when all you could use to write is that your chicken me out.”

A loud boisterous laugh echoed inside the small coffee shop, and you smiled.

No pick up line today, just his words repeating in your head over and over again. Go a little slower, just don’t stop.

Eeyore, for the way you keep on going despite being so exhausted with the world.

-

You walked in with a little more pep in your step the next week, and seeing you made Kuroo’s face beam.

“I was starting to miss you.” Kuroo sent you a smirk which you rolled your eyes too.

“I’m doing it. I’m going slowly.”

“I’m glad to hear that, although you do owe me your name after crying all over my shoulder.”

“Ha! Nice try, but you offered so I don’t owe you anything…. except maybe my deepest gratitude for hearing me out and implanting a new reminder I repeat to myself every time I feel like giving up.”

“It’s all good, seeing you around is enough. It’s a small highlight of my day.”

“Stop that.” You were trying to fight the smile that was threatening to show.

“I don’t think so. I like seeing the effect I have on you. You should be aware you have the same on me right? Oh, and name?” The smirk never once left his face as he peered down at you. You were sure he knew what he was doing to you, and you were frustrated at how he could just play that off so casually. How was flirting so easy to him?

“Wendy Darling.”

“Hm, a little different today, but I like it.”

He scribbled something down on your cup before stopping halfway when his name was called by the coworker who always seemed to just be working in the back.

“Duty calls. See you around?”

“See you around.”

That day, your cup read “Then I’ll be your Peter Pan, and you would be my happy thought so I’ll be able to fly.”

Wendy Darling, for the way he made you feel like a kid again.

-

Today, you were greeted by the sweetest smile on Kuroo’s face once he had realized the person walking in the coffee shop was you. You felt your chest tighten.

The atmosphere felt different.

“Iced chocolate, on your way. With a little extra twirl. It’s as if you’re mocking the way I make your iced chocolate, I’m hurt you don’t trust me.”

Your cheeks heated up at the way he’d noticed your little mannerism every time you received the drink from him.

“It’s not like that! Just a little habit.” You folded your arms over your chest, leaning against the counter with your tongue stuck out.

“I know, I was kidding. Plus I find it cute.”

“Only you would find someone twirling a straw cute, but it’s endearing really.”

“You’ve gotten a lot bolder than the first day we met, what was it again, Little Mermaid?”

“Shut up, that never happened.” Both of your laughs subsided at the sound of the shop’s bell ringing which brought him back to his responsibilities.

“And your name for today?”

“(Y/N).”

“Interesting. I’ve never heard of that one before. From which movie or book is it from?”

“It’s my name.”

Kuroo almost dropped the pen he was holding. Funny how someone’s name could elicit such a reaction from him. “(Y/N)…” He allowed your name to linger across his lips. He liked the taste of your name.

He immediately wrote back on the cup as quickly as he could as to not delay the customer who was waiting in line. You grabbed the cup from him, a shy smile on your face. You never really knew how the day you finally said your name would play out.

Today, the cup read “Go on a date with me?”

You turned back to see Kuroo expectedly waiting for a response as he made the next customer’s order, eyes never leaving you. You nodded your head before walking out, not missing the small fist he pushed in the air.

(Y/N), to finally take the next step with him.

summer lovin’

characters: oikawa tooru, sakusa kiyoomi, sugawara koushi, akaashi keiji, kuroo tetsuro.

summary: how your summer days are spent.

warnings: SO MUCH FLUFF. implied themes?

notes/other: i love the winter but i had to write this, okay 🥺 pls don’t take notice of how touch starved and lonely i am <3 i love you all <3

let me know what you think! feedback is always appreciated and encouraged! <3

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ˗ˏ ೃ⁀➷ 💌 ✧ *

oikawa tooru

your summer days with him are spent at the beach — bathing in the sunlight, visiting the nearby clubs, or simply playing volleyball with the kids that are around because it’s very fun.

he likes to sit on a towel with you on his lap, trail kisses up your neck when no one is watching and murmur sweet nothings into your ear.

but he also likes to visit clubs with you when the sun is setting and people are leaving the sea, hands on your hips and body close to yours. he’ll murmur how good you look, pull you away into a corner and kiss you until your red lipstick is now smeared on his face, too.

and when tooru is playing with the kids, he’ll send some sly winks your way and flirtatious smiles that make you feel like it’s the first time you’ve seen the volleyball player.

sakusa kiyoomi

‘omi prefers to stay inside when the heat is at its worse — eating lemon popsicles, cleaning around the house, or watching the birds from the comfort of the loveseat by the window.

he’ll scrunch up his nose and give you a small glare when you ask him if you can have a bite of his popsicle, hand it to you and then huff and say that you can keep it — though the tiniest of smiles will grace his lips.

when cleaning, kiyoomi likes it when you help. he won’t admit it, but he enjoys your company and the music you play while wiping down the windows and dusting off the tv stand. he’ll occasionally peck your lips, too, then tell you how there is a still a stain on the window.

and when he is peacefully watching the birds, he’ll send you a glance and then pat the small spot on the seat, silently telling you that he wants you to come and join him. you do, of course, and bury your nose into the crook of his neck while whispering how much you love him.

sugawara koushi

days with koushi can be full of activities — bike riding when the sun is in between sky and land, listening to music while laying on the grass, making lemonade and giving it to ittle kids.

bike rides are always filled to the brim with giggles because koushi will joke around, stick his tongue out at you and say something that he knows you will find funny to make you laugh.

one earbud will be placed in his ear, the other in yours. the phone is in the middle of you both, screen on the app you’re listening music on. he’ll let you pick the song — because he is so nice, like he likes to say — and then kiss you and say something cheesy that fits the mood.

making lemonade with koushi usually ends up in a mess — he can’t help but goof around, even though he is a grown man. he’ll give you lemonade kisses — he likes to call them that — which is just him taking a sip of his lemonade, then pecking your lips so you can taste the sweet drink, too.

akaashi keiji

with him it is always so relaxing — you’ll have romantic picnics, read to each other on the doorstep of your home, catch fireflies when the moon is finally hanging on the night sky.

keiji will cut melon and kiwi for the picnic, place in your favorite drink and prepare some sandwiches that he hopes you will love. he feeds you a piece of melon sometimes, small smile on his lips as you continue to read from the book he had picked out.

reading on the doorstep of your home is always so fun and calm — keiji looks like a piece of art bathing under the sunlight, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose and face flushed pink due to the summer heat. he’ll read a certain paragraph from the book and tell you how it reminds him of you — he’s a romantic in that way.

catching fireflies is fun in general — you’ll get one, show it to keiji and you both will admire it like lovesick children and then let it fly away, both of you waving with small smiles on your faces as if the firefly would be able to notice the love in between keiji and you.

kuroo tetsuro

exciting is the word you’d probably use while describing summer in tokyo with kuroo — he’ll take walks with you late in the night, show you small hidden ramen shops, and go to some nearby lake so you can take a refreshing dip.

your hand will be securely placed in his during night walks, swinging back in forth in a childish type of way. he’ll point out posters he thinks you will like, watch your reaction with pure adoration in his eyes. of course, he’ll take his chance and kiss you under a lamp — with tetsuro, even the small things are romantic.

he will always show you the best ramen shops — burst with excitement when he sees you hum in appreciation for the food, smile when he sees how excited you are about what still lies ahead in the night of small expeditions in tokyo.

when you are headed toward the lake — hand in hand with giggles erupting from your lips — tetsu will balance you on the side of the street walk, smile as you clumsily walk on the edge and then catch you if you happen to fall. once at the lake, he’ll kiss you — tell you how much he loves you and then laugh as he drags you into the water. of course, it is all fun and games.

⤷ their deepest fears

a drabble about the boys being the sweet creatures that they are. they deserve everything, if not, more.

sawamura daichi fears negligence. he understands the fatal risks imposed on him by his job, and is always alert and always plans out all of his actions thoroughly. a picture of you in the sun visor of his car never fails to remind him of who needs him the most, and who he must come back home to at the end of the day. because as much as he enjoys serving the society, daichi dedicates his entire life to you. and he makes sure that you will not need to feel what it’s like to live without him.

azumane asahi fears that he can’t protect you from danger. he may seem tough on the outside, but his heart is as fragile as the winter snowflake. call him clingy, but asahi picks you up every morning and drops you home at night. he calls you if you don’t reply him within fifteen minutes, and he texts you throughout the day to make sure that you are doing just fine.

kageyama tobio fears rashness, especially when it comes to his words. the tears you spilled for him that day after saying things out of anger is still fresh in his memory, and he reminds himself every day to not let anger take over him, and to only say things that will make your cheeks hurt from smiling.

tsukishima kei fears his incapability to brazenly express his feelings. he fears that his actions aren’t enough for you to know the love he carries for you, and the fact that he is unable to tell you about this particular weight in his heart fears him even more. tsukishima casually lends you his earphone to express his love through the lyrics of the song he is listening to. he sometimes texts you to listen to a song of his choice as a reminder of his love for you.

kuroo tetsurou fears overworking. he fears that he is too engrossed into his work that he fails to fit you into his busy schedule. he fears losing you over his work, and he makes sure to drop a text whenever possible to remind you that he loves you. cancelling a date with you is something he always tries to avoid, but when it has to happen, he will take the following three days off to make up for it. because another job is possible to find, but another you? impossible.

kozume kenma fears that you only see him for his wealth. he fears that your love for him is materialistic, and that if he ever loses everything, you will walk away from his life. he loves spoiling you and buying you gifts, because that is how he shows his love for you. but he also enjoys being wanted for his presence. kenma enjoys when you offer him to be his player two or when you rush him to end his streaming because you need movies and cuddles.

bokuto koutarou fears that your support towards him wavers and that he can’t see you amongst the crowd in his games. he can easily distuingish your voice even through the audience loud cheering, and he fears not being able to hear your voice screaming his name after he scores a point. running to you and hugging you tightly after a match is his subtle way of telling you to never leave his side.

akaashi keiji fears the complications within himself. he looks into the mirror and sees his own insecurities, and he fears that everything about him is too overwhelming for you to handle. but your arms wrapped around him is telling him otherwise. your whisper of affection and encouragement into his ear is telling him that you want to shove away his insecurities, and that you want to do that together with him. his burdens are your burdens, and akaashi falls in love even deeper seeing you willing to carry them together with him.

oikawa tooru fears disloyalty. he fears himself straying away from the right path and ends up unleashing his loneliness with someone temporary, someone else who merely gives him fake happiness, someone who only makes him physically warm, someone who can never make him weak on his knees like you can. someone who can never replace you in his heart. your photo as his lockscreen is to tell everyone who he belongs to. you are his anchor that he holds on to, and you are the ground that keeps him sturdy at all times.

iwaizumi hajime fears dreaming about the impossible. he fears that the stars are way out of his reach, and that his dream is a mere fantasy that he can never make into reality. but watching you flash a smile and two thumbs up at him from the crowd, he knows that he can chase after everything in this world; he can be anything he wants in this world, as long as he has you behind him with your guiding hands never leaving his back.

- Kuroo, Kai, and Yaku (nekoma third years) are not only on the volleyball team, but also the chemistry olympiad team at nekoma

AHH! What a fun question. I had a bunch of friends like this in high school. They used to drag me to math competitions. I was no good at them. This is primarily Kuroo focused, but I love the idea of him dragging his teammates with him.

·         Kuroo was so quiet and shy as a kid that he spent all of his time inside mixing things up in his chemistry kit. Whenever he made something change colors, he would get so excited and run downstairs to show his mom.

·         He’s the president of the Chemistry Club at school. He is the only person enrolled in the chemistry club. He never bothered to recruit other people. He didn’t have time.

·         He says he’s doing it for his college apps, but he has a mad scientist vibe going on. He loves setting things on fire and watching them react.

·         He always spends his lunch hour in the chemistry lab

·         Kuroo “bothers” the chemistry teacher— his teacher acts annoyed, but he’s secretly super impressed with him, but he’s constantly getting after him for eating in the lab, not wearing googles, etc. even though Kuroo has never had any accidents.

·         Kuroo is one familial tragedy away from going down a Breaking Bad type path. He’s absolutely smart and streetwise enough.

·         When it comes time for the Chemistry Olympiad, he starts sneaking Kai and Yaku the homework so that they get the grades to qualify.

·         His teacher knows this is happening but turns the other cheek. He knows how badly Kuroo wants to go.

·         Kuroo has to bribe Kai and Yaku with free food to get them to go (he promises that they’ll get to miss school). They begrudgingly agree. They spend the entire day having no idea what’s going on and doing whatever Kuroo tells them to. Despite this, they place within the top ten teams in their prefecture. Kuroo will not stop talking about it at volleyball practice. His teammates tease him incessantly.

Drunk make out with Atsumu pleasee~

to the ends of the earth

Pairing: Atsumu x reader Genre: FLUFFY FLUFF Wordcount: 550 Warnings: Alcohol Consumption.

The night had been a rough one for Atsumu, the team had gone out after their game to celebrate their recent victory, well all apart from Sakusa who had decided to avoid the “dirty” bar and instead go home and sleep. He had been trying to keep up with Bokuto and Hinata’s drinking the entire night which proved more difficult than he originally would have thought. It was well past 1 am when he finally stumbled through your front door into the apartment. He slipped off his shoes, trying his best to keep quiet so as to not wake you but little did he know you had been waiting for him.

When he entered your front room he found you sat, lain back on the sofa, eyes closed in a light slumber. You stirred when you heard his heavy footsteps. He saw you moving and instantly felt guilty, but that didn’t stick around for long as he looked over you, you were absolutely gorgeous, your hair was falling around your face, framing it perfectly. Your eyes were half closed, looking up at him through hooded eyes, a small smile breaking across your face.

“Hey baby” he sighed clumsily while shifting your hair out of your face.

“G’morning” you mumbled out, holding onto the hand that grazed your face to keep it there. “How are the boys doing?”

“Very drunk” he laughed, kissing your forehead before collapsing on the sofa next to you.

He pulled you into his side, wrapping his arm around you to keep you close to him. He stared down at you, really taking in your beauty, really looking at you. He never failed to realise how lucky he was to have you. He vowed then and there to cherish you for the rest of his life.

“You okay dummy? You’re kinda staring at me.” You giggled out, before leaning your head on his shoulder, almost pushing your face into the side of his neck.

“I’m great honestly… I just love ya. Like a lot.” You blushed at this admonition, pushing your head further into the crevice.

“Shut up. You’re drunk”

“I’m drunk but I sure as hell ain’t stupid.” He pulled your head up, his hand grazing over your face, coming to rest on your chin as he pulled your face closer. His lips fell onto yours, feeling the soft plushness beneath his own was completely intoxicating, if he wasn’t drunk before he definitely was now

You shifted quickly to sit on his lap, your legs landing either side of his own, your hands coming up to twist into his soft blond locks. He sighed out quickly before taking your lips back onto his own, feeling your tongue swipe deftly across his bottom lip, he allowed you entrance, feeling the muscle move against his own for a moment before you pulled away.

“I love you too you know?” your smile brought him so much joy. “You’re my dummy”

“That I am sweetness”

And all too quickly his lips are back on yours, stealing anymore mumbled words from your mouth before they could even form. This man loved you, and you loved him, and you would love each other until the ends of the Earth.
