        “ You were dead ! ”    Lagertha snapped vigorously. She had poured her whole soul and love into these confessions on his coffin.      “ I thought you were dead, Ragnar. ”      Honestly he only deserved to be hit and a good slap. His annoying smirk was glued to his lips as he watched her with his light blue eyes. 

Now that the battle was done, and that his plan had worked majestically, she would never hear the end of it. His ego was immoderate. And though, even with all of that, he managed to pull a smile from her clenched jaw. The shieldmaiden looked away with a scoff, blushing even as the man kept staring at her.      “ You should have told me.”     The blonde spat out, chin high as if to defy her King, hand on her hip. No title between them, just them, Ragnar and Lagertha from their old farm. Even if she was relieved he was not dead, she had went through a heavy emotional breakdown when learning about his death.     “ At least you came back somehow, so I can kick your ass.”
