When shooting a bow, it is very important to keep your shoulders in line. In picture A, the individual would have a difficult time aiming because they are using their muscles to hold the bow. You use muscles to hold the bow, but in picture B, the individual is using the bones in their arm to help them hold the pressure of the outstretched bow, allowing for a higher accuracy and steadier aim.

Hey

I have this headcanon that the insides of each Pokeball actually containes a mini apartment that the pokemon lives in until they're needed by their Trainer. When the pokemon enters the pokeball, they get shrunken down to fit the size of the mini-apartment, and when they're called by their trainer, they grow back to normal size. I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this, but ir's what I always imagined as a kid.

Hey

Just as a heads up to the few people following me (for some reason), I'm gonna try to post more stuff on here. I figure why not, but it'll probably be just some random thoughts that go through my head. I'll see how it plays out.

When someone disagrees with you online and demands you prove your point to their satisfaction by writing a complete and logically sound defense including citations, you can save a lot of time by not doing that.

Bro, I’ve known you for twelve seconds and enjoyed none of them, I’m not taking homework assignments from you.

This got a lot of responses from people pointing out that evidence is a key part of intellectual inquiry, discourse, and debate.  That being able to support your beliefs is a key critical thinking skill.  Which is 100% true.

Except that you don’t actually have to participate in intellectual discourse any time some fucko on the Internet tells you to.

There’s a vast difference between “this is an important thing to be able to do,” and “this is a thing that you must be continuously available to perform in public for any stranger who asks.”

It’s important people read and understand this.

“Why do you beat yourself up so much over little mistakes?”

This is such a good illustration of emotional abuse

Just a reblog to spread the most UN noticed abuse, be aware

and reminder for everyone to be patient with your loved ones who apologize constantly, or have a really emotional reaction to something that seems insignificant to you.

spongebob critical

spongebob and patrick emotinally abuse squidward on a daily basis and nobody???talks about this????

Mr. Krabs is basically a slave owner since he admits to almost never paying his employees.

Patrick killed like 20 people at the frycook olympics.

Plankton was so lonely that he built a computer to marry, but also programmed it to belittle him and go behind his back.

Sandy cheeks represents the oppressed minority because she is the only mammal in bikini bottom and lives alone in the middle of nowhere despite being smarter than all of them combined and yet no one here is talking about representation????

Mrs. Puff suffers from Spongebob continuously failing his driving test to the point where he one time crashed so hard, she lost her inflation (since she’s a pufferfish) and was reduced to shriveled wreck.

Don’t forget about how Spongebob constantly harassed and followed Mrs. puff afterwards despite how she clearly didn’t want anything to do with him after the accident.

Bubble Buddy killed a man.

Bubble Buddy poisoned the water supply, burned the crops, and delivered a plague onto the houses of the Bikini Bottom residents.

No… but are we just going to wait around until he does?!

I SAY WE TIP SOMETHING OVER!

“now what?”

How To Improve Your Life In Little Ways

  • Set out an outfit every night for the next day. Even if you don’t think you’re going to get dressed or ready tomorrow, it’s there just in case. I always feel more productive when I actually get ready for the day.
  • Create a ritual for yourself, turning the mundane, boring things into an event. Such as your skin care, your shower, your breakfast, the half hour before you go to sleep, the drive to work or school, etc.
  • Find little ways to improve your day.
  • Set your days up to be better. Clean your room in the morning to make sure you have a tidy space to come home to. Have a water bottle handy and full so you end up drinking enough water. Sprinkle some lavender essential oil on your sheets in the morning so you can come home and sleep in a relaxing comfy bed.
  • Pamper yourself in little ways. Do a face mask once a week. Use that nice body butter. Get a pair of hotel slippers and a fluffy robe to wear in the mornings.
  • Find ways to incorporate things you like into tasks you don’t.
  • Surround yourself with beautiful things and wonderful people.

I feel like some people (including me) need a reminder of this sometimes. Always make time to take care of yourselves, physically and mentally.
