It was just a matter of getting through all the security measures. But it was nothing the two couldn’t handle, and it would give them time to catch up.

“Uh… I met her through Kisuke, and she helped me train for Bankai.” He said calling back to his first encounter with the former captain, though it was in her cat form. “She’s… Well, she’s Yoruichi, I guess that’s all I need to say.” Yoruichi was one of his mentors but her little games with him always had him on edge.
“B-bankai? You’re so young though, it takes years, I thought you were human really.” Subaru looked at the taller shinigami, clearly confused, this guy was something else entirely. Not willing to back down after an injury, trained by two former captains of the Gotei 13. She must have been decades older than him yet she’d done none of that. “She’s one of the strongest out there, Ichigo.”
“Oh no, I am human, but I understand why you’re so surprised.” Ichigo did understand that other shinigamis were surprised by his level of spirit energy despite only being human. “Yeah, it helps that we used a method made by Kisuke that allows to master it in three days.” He answered her as he rubbed the back of his head, as he chuckled. “Yeah she is, but she also has way too much time on her hands, and she does love her games...”

“Oh, I’m the substitute soul reaper Ichigo Kurosaki.” He introduced himself to the woman as he looked in awe as she effortlessly eliminated the hollow. “I was here as a favor to Yoruichi when I felt the spiritual pressure from those hollows…” Ichigo further explained as he was on route to the 2nd division’s barracks to deliver something.
“Subaru Hamasaki, fifteenth seat of the third.” It was a title she was proud of, in all honesty, she’d worked hard to become a seated officer in the first place, some spent their whole lives being unseated. “Ah…the flash goddess? How on earth did you come into contact with someone like that?” Subaru’s eyes widened.

“Thought enti-? Wait are those demons?” Rin asked the other a little confused by that name, it was then his ears twitched a little, he sensed something, what ever it was sent a shiver down his spine.
“No, they’re thought entities. I guess you could say they’re like spirits of those who used to be.”
“I... I can hear them.” Rin readied to himself, his hand was about to unsheathe his sword, though he was hesitant as he was still cautious about revealing his powers in front of someone.

“… Ah sure…” Ichigo said as he was forced to sit back and let this other reaper work. He wasn’t that bad of an injury but he was sensing a little hostility from the woman.
“…What sort of superior allows that sort of attitude?” Subaru mumbled, more to herself than him as she activated her shikai, sending a blast of wind at one Hollow, shattering the mask immediately. “Fifteenth Seat means something, ya know?”
“...” Ichigo just blinked a few times as he watched the woman cut down the hollows she faced. He guessed the lower seated members were making names for themselves, and picking the slack, and their seat didn’t really matter, they own individual skills and talents is what made them strong.

“ walking, maybe not, ” his torso is still wrapped tightly in bandages, and yet he made it both down the stairs, to the kitchen, and is currently standing and eating a bowl of completely dry cereal. luxu’s accomplices are leaning against the counter next to him, the crutches having gained another scuff from his fall getting here. “ you need two feet to walk though. i looked it up, part of the definition is putting one foot in front of the other. so i don’t fucking know what this is, but it’s definitely not walking. so i’m fine. ”
“Oh is someone being a Mr. Grumpy-pants today?” He teased his student, as he drank his coffee while doing some like research notes at the table in the book. He could tell that Luxu still wasn’t happy about being injured and being restricted by his crutches, and then he gently pushed a chair out for Luxu to sit. “It’s only for two more weeks, so just grit your teeth and bear it like you always do.” He told the other as he patted the seat inviting him to sit. “There’s no shame in asking for help, that’s what we're here for.”

Ichigo huffed, he was covered in minor cuts and wounds, he gripped his Zangetsu changing his stance as he charged the other, black energy began swirling around his blade. “Getsuga Tensho!” Raising his sword above he slashed into the air firing a crescent wave of energy at the other.
Ichigo grinned, sparks flying between their blades, both warriors trying to push against each other. The teen was holding his ground, using all his strength to gain the upper hand against Irus, his black bankai started to radiate a black and red energy, the blade then became covered in the energy.
“You’d better be prepared...” Ichigo told him as he was about to unleash another more stronger Gestsuga Tensho from his blade.

He sighed quietly relieved. “Sorry about that, I thought it was someone else…” Riku said as this woman stood before him. “Sorry about that… I take it that you live here in Traverse town?” He asked the woman.
“No. Radiant Garden, or as you and Sora know it, Hollow Bastion. I live in the castle. I am helping the former members of the Organization get back on their feet. You knew them as Vexen, Zexion, Xaldin and Lexaeus. They got their Hearts back and are themselves again. But Even and Dilan not so much, they..”
Pausing for a moment she tilted her head. “They rejected their memories as Nobodies, so when they came back it was harder on them. Yen Sid sent me here to see if there was something I could use to help them out.”
That was a lot to take in, so she was a resident of Kairi’s former home, the world they knew all too well during their first and second adventures. He was also surprised by the mention of the former members of the old organization XIII. Only three of those names were familiar to him as he had made them at castle oblivion.
“I see Master Yen Sid sent you on a job huh?” Riku said as she knew all this info, and she knew him and Sora, so that made her an ally. He still a little cautious but he sensed no ill-intent from her.
