So how is it that Louis is supposed to be the least successful one but out of the five he is the only one who can put up a whole free festival, not do dynamic pricing or vip seating, how can he just do random giveaways as Christmas presents. He can go to some random bands gofundme and give them money to buy instruments while the others are only able to give to big corporate charities based on how their accountant advises. He is able to buy water for everyone and distribute at venues while the others are bound by limitations of their management to sell 10 pound water bottles at their shows.

Louis always said that he was extravagant with money but I still remember when Niall was talking about how difficult and expensive it is to sustain touring, it must be the same for Louis. I am sure Niall is earning 10s of millions from his voice gig yet 30% of his seats are vip. No wonder that band could never sustain. They were never like minded people. The 1D fans misjudge these guys so much even though they follow them with such dedication. They can keep dismissing Louis as a failure but Louis is the only one with a heart of a true king while the others can be at the top of all the billionaire lists but at heart they will always be paupers.

The boys were all enormously wealthy by the time they finished One Direction. They were worth multiple times what an average person makes in our entire lifetimes. They weren’t billionaires, but they could do whatever they wanted.

Now, Harry is the wealthiest of all of them, but we’re comparing between £tens and £hundreds of millions. They’re all very comfortable.

That means they have the luxury of choice.

That includes moral and ethical choices.

Every single one of your examples is right on target. Sometimes the hole that can’t be filled inside isn’t a financial one.

Do people really think Louis is late to stage because he’s sitting in his dressing room, boozing or snorting or shooting up? Have they never had any experience in a backstage setting? At all? Never seen the chaos prior to curtain up? Not even a school concert or dance recital? Are they not aware of the six thousand and forty things that could go wrong before a performer can hit the stage? Multiply that by ten thousand moving parts and add in travel, new venue and staff to deal with, new equipment to work at every single show. 

Even in the last week or so, Louis has dealt with venue issues, a support act who may not make it to the gig, extreme climate events, restrictive local ordinances and god knows what else. Yes, he has a team but his touring staff are not exactly copious and we have evidence that he is a controlling perfectionist who likes to get involved.  

Louis drinks, he smokes. His time management skills could do with improving. I have no doubt he has a couple of drinks or tokes prior to performance and we know he drinks onstage but he is hardly guzzling up there. He’s certainly not throwing empty vodka bottles into the audience.  In all the footage of his performances, have you ever seen him messy? Slurring words, stumbling around the stage? Crashing into his own band members? You think he could scramble nimbly up and down to the barricades if he was wasted? 

You think his security would let him close to fans if they were attempting to cover up the problems of a real addiction? You want to know a major sign of a performer out of control? Look to the crew. Here the crew are, busting ass every day to deliver a show. How happy do you think they are if the central figure is messed up enough to put all their professional efforts to waste? A crew dealing with performer issues are fractured and silent, not cohesive and happily posting to social media. They certainly do not sign on for another extensive tour if the first one was spent working around instead of with the lead performer. That goes double, at least, for his band. 

Instead of all this faux concern about his supposed problem, maybe pause a minute and take a look as clear eyed as Louis is in the portraits Josh takes of him backstage (and we wouldn’t have anything from backstage if there was a serious problem).  We actually know very little of Louis life but it looks complicated and exciting enough without manufacturing crises.  The rest is speculation, so stop being so eager to believe anyone with an opinion but no demonstrable knowledge. Take a look at what you can see and make up your own mind. From what I see, Louis is a performer and he has been delivering, show after show,  to very happy and enthusiastic audiences. What more exactly do you want from him?  If it’s a moral compass and a guide to clean living, you do do, but perhaps you are in the wrong fandom.

Nothing about this man’s career makes any sense. Like the longer I’m a fan the more questions that arise and less that gets answered lmao 😭

You have to laugh or you’ll cry cause oh my gosh everything surrounding him, career wise is SO abnormal.
