thank you for the responses I’ve received! I go to bed extremely early but I’ll post those wishlists in the morning. feel free to submit more in the meantime!

also, according to the survey results, ppl are more interested in text adventures/interactive fiction as rewards than I thought they would be, which is Cool bc that’s definitely something I can make at this point in time. I mean it’ll take a while but, it’s definitely a thing I can do.

one last thing: I’ll be making a form for the wishlists in the morning too, I didn’t add one at first bc I didn’t want people to be constrained by it but it was pointed out to be that some ppl might find it easier to fill out a form.

see you tomorrow!!

here’s a quick survey to determine what options I should consider for rewards! don’t worry about the logistics of actually making them; at this point in time, I’m gonna be making only short stories, this is just for the Future, when I can Expand My Horizons

pals, we need wishlists

basically: for this blog to really kick off, we need ppl who are mentally ill/neurodivergent/not neurotypical to submit wishlists of art/fic they’d like to receive.

so submit your wishlist! the worst that can happen is that nobody will submit anything from it, which would suck, but I’m hoping that with the points system, people will be motivated to submit things from wishlists for people they might not even know. so it’ll be a Fun Time

speaking of the points system, I am working on the digital downloads you can exchange points for. they’re gonna be original short stories, bc I have no art skills. they’ll be cool though!

anyway, please submit your wishlists – and if you’re interested in points, you can draw or write something from my wishlist, if no one submits their wishlist soon. don’t feel obligated to though it’s only up there so the blog wouldn’t be empty when it started.

the blog... is Open

hey! this is Draw My OCs, a blog for drawing or writing stuff off neurodivergent people’s wishlists

what?

basically: it’s tough being mentally ill/neurodivergent/Not Neurotypical in this world, so why not make someone smile? nd people can submit wishlists of what they’d want people to draw or write for them, and other people can draw or write for them and get Points once they submit!

points??

ya everyone who submits something they created from someone’s wishlist gets points. points can be redeemed for... currently nothing, but eventually you’ll be able to redeem points for cool digital downloads.

what else do you want ppl to know?

I’m aware that mentally ill/neurodivergent ppl need more support than just people drawing or writing stuff for them. I plan to use this blog for other things, too. in the future, we’re going to raise money for people who need it, link to mental health resources, and do other things.

so anyway I think that’s it! read our pages and ask if you have any questions!
