“According to a report from The Washington Post, many of those who subscribed to Twitter Blue Verified, Elon Musk’s disastrous (and now paused) attempt to extract money from Twitter users, were accounts promoting right-wing politics, pornography — and cryptocurrency speculation.”

These are the same advertisers who were until recently restricted to sketchy porn sites. Well done.

Wow. You know, I am shocked by this revelation. Who would have guessed the people who believe in Musky's grift, I mean "gift", the most would be the ones who would pony up the cash to him? Not me, that's for darn sure.

RUMOR : Disney CEO and Bigger Executives Of The Company Thinking In Expanding Disney+ Content Beyond The “Family Friendly” Brand

Disney+ continues to invest more and more on content and since this year we have seem them trying to compete with all-audience content streaming services Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max with different content for all ages.

Starting with the introduction of the Star hub featuring all 20th Century Studios, Touchstone, ABC Signature, FX &  Freeform adult brands on worldwide Disney+ (Except Latin America & USA due Hulu’s acquisition by Disney) later this year we found out that Disney was investing in Anime content with Japan Division: Disney Anime for creation and licensing for Anime aka more mature and not so family friendly projects.

Early this year we reported that newly rebranded adult tv animation unit 20th Television Animation promised that “investing on kids animation was talked”

Welp it seems that things are about to change as Disney Executives from the bigger boards are discussing the possibility of adding more content that extends the “Family Friendly” brand at Disney.

If some Disney executives get their way, Disney+ may expand one day from serving only “family-friendly” content

The report comes from entertainment reporter Dylan Byers, who says current Disney CEO Bob Chapek is one of the main driving forces behind the change, while former CEO and current executive chairman Bob Iger is insisting the company remains family-friendly on Disney+.

“Bob Iger ‘insisted on sticking to the narrow definition,’ one of those sources told me,” Byers writes in his latest blog post. “Chapek 'intends to expand it,’ but the anxiety among some insiders is that the famously data-driven Chapek lacks the creative vision to do it the right way.”

If Chapek gets on it’s way it probably will help shows like The Owl House and The Lizzie McGuire Revival who both suffered a cut short or got straight up canceled beacuse they didn’t fit the “Disney Brand”

On Lizzie’s case, Old Disney+ excs thought that Lizzie making references to sex and alcohol where not very brand friendly with Hilary Duff mentioning and championing to move the revival to Hulu but a year ago on December, the reboot was canceled after filming two episodes.

On The Owl House case, Dana mentions that the show didn’t fit “Disney’s Brand” meaning in reality that a super serialized show like TOH didn’t fit on a cable channel aimed at 0-11 year olds who aim more at episodic comedies based  on Big City Greens sucess after beating DuckTales and Big Hero 6 The Series as the next big Disney hit after Disney was pushing the latter two to be the next big Disney Channel hit, this thing could lead to the long wished limited series about Eda’s Past or more mature spin-off focused on The Owl House universe.

Other things that this could help is aiming for more mature revivals,

This Friday, Disney announced the revival of The X-Men Animated Series from 1992 and probably set a revival for Gargoyles where it’s creator has expressed interest on a more mature continuation,

For axed projects it could give them a second chance to young adult animated comedy Very Important House from the creative minds of Jenny Goldberg and Johnen Vasquez who the latter created dark things such as Invader Zim and his hit comic Johnny The Homicidal Maniac and some clips released from the axed 2016 pilot showcase very not “Disney XD family friendly images” such as a Blob telling Frolie that he killed all the Unicorns of his dimension and a very funny allusion of Frolie losing her legs with dark spots hinting at blood but not actually blood or The Blob painting Frolie slice in half with a bone and “””definitive NOT blood”””

As for 20th Television Animation and Disney Television Animation the creation of future originals being branded as “young adult animated series” like Netflix’s She-Ra The Princesses Of Power, The Dragon Prince, Voltron Legendary Defender, The Tales Of Arcadia Franchise & HBO Max’s Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, Bataman Caped Crusaders and Infinity Train for the platform.

The Guardians of the Galaxy game is already better than the films because it has 100% less Chris Pratt than the movies have but here is another reason:

RUBY THURSDAY :D

AKA THE BEST MARVEL VILLAIN EVER

And she shows up in the same part of the game that has Fin Fang Foom?

YES

Yes the makers of this game understand me :D

The game also has Cosmo the Space Dog who is the Goodest Boy and whose omission from the movies is a crime against doggos everywhere

In a better world Star Lord would have been killed off in Infinity War instead of Gamora and in Endgame the Guardians would be led by Cosmo and everyone agrees its an improvement

Drax: He spends less time licking his own genitals than the terran human did

Cosmo: Cosmo did not need to know this but he thanks you large angry space man

Best part is that Cosmo has THAT Russian-English accent. Which makes him absolutely hilarious.

Cosmo is being goodest doggo! <3

< Softly pets him

Can we say that the GotG Game is canon to the MCU, and just forget that Chris Pratt mess?

Cash cash cash if (and only if) you can!

That cost of jar of peanut butter you brought to your last food drive (thank you!!!) can be used to buy like 4 or 5 jars when the Food Bank is purchasing it wholesale and possibly at a deep discount. They also work with other Food Banks to share overstocked products, but have to cover fees and transportation costs.

At the end of the day, pretty much every donation is appreciated and helpful, but if you were planning to do a grocery run to drop stuff at the Food Bank, save the time and gas and donate online! And in normal times, I would say you could use that extra time to volunteer....

So, if you don't know about Kahn Academy its an online education platform that provides free courses in a whole lot of subjects. I've personally used it for computer science and math. The classes they have really run the gamut

They need donations (they're a 501 nonprofit) to help them keep operating and grow. They're an invaluable source of learning for pretty much anyone, particularly those without the financial and/or social resources to access other options. Using it helped me test into higher levels at my CC and saved me about two years in tuition for classes that I didn't need and wouldn't have helped toward my degree. If you've got the ability consider throwing them some scratch or at least reblog to keep a great organization going.
