|| A guide to color matching each skin tone! ||

The pattern color is seen as face paint and a basic design shirt in the images, but when choosing the final color, I aired on what I thought looked best on the shirt (since we can have transparent patterns on the face!)

If you find a tone that you think matches better, please let me know!

me: okay, before we go through with this, i just have one question. is the aversion to garlic like, a lactose intolerance thing where you can consume it but you’ll regret it later, or is it more of a severe, potentially lethal allergic reaction kinda sitch?

vampire: *pausing mid-bite* why… does it matter?

me: i’m just not sure if this immortality deal is really worth it if i can never eat garlic again

no but seriously. how much garlic does it take to actually repel a vampire? there are no specific measurements as far as i’m aware, which on the one hand suggests that it’s just any amount at all, but on the other hand it makes vampires look kind of weak and shitty if they can be successfully warded off by a speck of garlic powder in my blood

vampire: now, i know you’re new to this whole vampirism thing, but using that much garlic in your cooking surely can’t agree with you-

me: buddy, i was lactose intolerant before i turned. i’ve suffered worse for less.

angel: aren’t you supposed to be repelled by salt? that must be so painful

demon: i’m already damned to eternal torment in hell, do you really think i’m going to torture myself with bland, unseasoned food as well? no thank you *pops another salt and vinegar chip in their mouth and winces*

faerie: you are aware that iron dampens our magic, right?

other faerie: i will die before i stop eating chocolate and that is a threat

millennial supernatural entities are unstoppable

Honestly, real life version of this is just getting drunk

good night to robert pattinson in long hair only

Story behind the long hair was that he wanted to look like a princess, so the hair dresser gave him long, golden locks of hair

he wanted to play a princess.

I appreciate how that’s phrased as if “bullying timothee chalamet” is the main reason for an actor to accept a role

This is so relatable, I’m dying.

LOUDER FOR THOSE IN THE BACK

For those of you who aren’t going to vote in the 2020 election because Bernie or whoever didn’t win primaries.

Not voting is in of itself just as powerful as voting. Fuck this rhetoric.

No, it’s not.

All that does is let other people…who may hate you and want you dead…decide your future for you.

No one gives a shit if you didn’t vote as a protest. It accomplished nothing except to further the interests of the people who hate me and folks like me. Not voting isn’t powerful; it’s rejecting a civic duty that people fought and died for and saying ‘well I don’t care.’

Being able to not care in politics is a privilege in and of itself.

This is important!

Yeah, I can’t stress this enough, especially in US politics. Like…the government doesn’t just go “Oh no! Not enough people voted so I guess we gotta do the whole thing over again!”

Lol, no, that’s not how it works! Instead, the people who do vote–the ones with easy access and/or a monetary incentive to vote– get to decide who’s going into office even though they’re not an accurate representation of the people overall.

If you and five of your friends don’t vote, all six of you are worth less than Jeff Bezos getting paid a trillion dollars a second while voting.

For every person that doesn’t vote, the voters who are incentivized by classist, sexist, racist politicians level up.

This is exactly what I said to my mom to get her to vote last time. You’re not voting to put someone in. You’re voting to keep certain people out.

executive dysfunction be like *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels bad* *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels bad* *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels ba

I recently learnt that executive dysfunction can be broken down into two main categories: anxiety that your attempt won't be satisfactory, or confusion about where to start or how to break it down into steps. As much as we feel bad about it, it's extremely important to remember that it is NOT laziness and we in fact shouldn't feel bad.

hey reblog this instead
