(I know it’s been 8000 years since I painted something, on top of Lyme I had a severe h.pylori infection that keeps coming back life is awesome hurrah)
I fell off the face of the earth again. I got diagnosed with Lyme Disease and while treating the lyme we discovered I had a severe infection in my stomach/colon. Bad news: most of my issues still persist. Good news: the stomach ordeal is now over and for the first time in years I can eat again.
But yes, that’s why there was a sudden drop off in my art and the flower wizard series. I wish I could say I am in good enough health to resume, but I’m not. I’m still struggling, but thank you all for the amount of support on my flower series! :)
So I really wanted to have the Halloween flower sorceress done for today but my luck this month would have it that not only does my tablet stop working, but all my health issues went spiraling out of control again. Sorry : (

Hey folks, I’m going to try recording the next flower sorceress painting. Anyone have suggestions for screen recording software? It’s been about 6ish years since I recorded a painting, and Camtasia is driving me up a wall.
Just something for myself.
I really love your style, it reminds me a lot of the anime style used in Black Butler.
All I know about Black Butler (because I live under a rock) is that it involves suits and I love suits therefore this is high praise, thank you!

Because Mortem3r’s Witchy OOTD video personally broke my tiny gothic heart. (Took some liberty with changing the design of my favorite outfit from that set).

I just finished building my computer this week, so hopefully I’ll have some art for you guys soon! I’m itching to get back into it, despite my job completely burning me out this month!
Just some previews for the next flower wizard. I’ve been fighting myself over her design for over a month. Ultimately I’ve decided that I want the wizards to borrow elements of their flowers, without looking like carbon copies of the flowers.
Are you selling prints of your Bearded Iris Sorceress, or printed on something like a pillow? Because I would buy it in a heartbeat (if I can afford it). If not, then I want you to know that your drawing is absolutely gorgeous, and you should definitely be very proud of it!!!
Hi! Thank you for the kind compliment! My original intention was to sell the series as prints. Unfortunately, vibrant blues do not translate well to CMYK--so there is a slight color variation in prints. However if you’re still interested, I will put it up on my Society6 shop. : )
For reference--below is a comparison. The top image is what the print colors would look like, versus the bottom. It was a massive oversight on my part, you’d think after 4 years of design school would have nailed that one into my head but alas!
Thanks guys for all the reblogs and new follows!!! I’m really aching to get the newest flower wizard up, my current computer that’s 4+ years old now is breaking down bad (read: my defective graphics card is spontaneously combusting again). Hopefully in a few weeks I’ll have a new build up and running!
