His voice is soft as he carries the other to their campfire, settling down with Red on his lap and giving the raven a kiss to the forehead.

Comin’ Under Fire
Hot. He was so fucking hot.
No matter what Archer did, he found himself damn near overheating. No amount of fanning or water seemed to help the fever he’d come down with.
He panted, a hand running through his hair, and he wondered if he’d be in trouble for shedding his uniform. The spare clothing he kept in his office would be so much cooler than the stuffy high collared shirt, jacket, and slacks. Hell, if it were an option, he’d have stripped down to his boxers.
Eyes shifted to the clock, and the executive willed it to tick faster.
Half an hour, just thirty more minutes and he’d be off from work. He could go home and get a wonderful icy cold shower…
If it were just the burning sensation he felt, he’d be fine.
He could cope with the heat, he was from Hoenn, after all, Archer was used to blistering summers. But no, this came with something… more. A desire that burned like fire between his thighs. A burning ache that needed to be put out.
He needed to get laid, and he needed it now.
He was seriously tempted to call up his favorite friend with benefits and schedule a last minute get together, but at the same time, he didn’t want to put pressure on his friend. Knowing his luck, Jace would be busy…
It was late. He was tired. Nothing too uncommon or out of place with that. The only difference was that Green had been in town in Goldenrod to visit the local Gym Leader to help her for a day. Something about strategies, but he barely processed anything the whole day.
He just wanted to get to his Hotel and then tomorrow head back to Pallet Town.
What the Former Champion didn’t count on was running into a certain Rocket Executive on his way there, walking in opposite directions on the same path. He could ignore him, or Green could confront him. At least those were things he might have done with more energy or concentration.
Instead, he found himself staring at Archer, almost in shock.

What is Green's favorite reaction to things when they go bad? Does he have a catchphrase or does he just say whatever expletive comes to mind when things go wrong?
This depends on the situation going wrong!
If it’s something major or completely unexpected he’s likely to just let out a single ‘Fuck’ or ‘Shit’ before trying to amend the situation.
If its something minor, like a prank/surprise or something he finds embarrassing he’ll just groan... or maybe mutter something like ‘why me’.

❄ Rᴇᴅ sɪᴍᴘʟʏ sʜʀᴜɢs and sits in Green’s lap right away, taking his Game Boy out of his pocket with Kirby’s Dream Land inside. It’ll certainly be nice to actually have someone to play video games with again.
Giving Red a moment to settle himself on his lap, Green couldn’t help the soft smile coming to his lips. They’d both been ‘alone’ for so long, just simple contact like this was enough for them both usually. Especially for himself. To Green, it was a reminder that he wasn’t simply imagining things between them.

A simple musing statement, the Gym Leader wrapping his arms around the other loosely so as not to encroach upon his vision or arms. He wasn’t against resting his chin on Red’s shoulder though to watch.

“yes.” the vague surprise in being recognized is EVIDENT in his voice. ever since practically dropping off the face of the earth when he was beaten by gold, silver had started to work on being a better TRAINER – no. a better person, he supposed. & it was hard to say how far he’d come without any guidance, but at least he had developed some kind of conscience, some concept of morals. He was shyer. He was less brash. He spoke quiet.
“I guess… I came a little too late to request a battle.”
He figured it was Silver, just going off of the hair. Getting confirmation put the brunet at ease, knowing he wasn’t just assuming things and being incorrect. Crossing his arms he gave a small shrug, “ Gold told me about you when he got his badge. He didn’t exactly say much I would expect to come out of my own Rival’s mouth though~ ” he said, meaning to tease the other.
“ I’m no stranger to unofficial battles still if you’d like that, or you can wait until tomorrow to try and get an Earth Badge. Either way, I’ve got no doubts you’d gimme a run for my money. ”
