Verivery’s relationship with Moondal

VeriVery

They all ADORE her. When they are out doing promotions she is all business and work with a little play. At home, she is the goofiest with her boys. The company lets them show her off more than other companies show their employees, and the whole group loves it. Whenever they are filming something behind the scenes, Moonie is either filming or being filmed by the boys. Whenever they flip the camera on her she covers her face because she still thinks it’s weird that the company allows her to be shown. Everyone has a nickname for her but the most common one is Moonie and Dad.

Dongheon

They are roommates and really close. They trust each other with everything. When MoonDal is at school and he is of course in charge of the group, he sends her texts and gives updates on what’s happening. He is also her dance partner for almost everything. They open up to each other about everything. He was the first person in the group she talked to about her sexual assault, and even showed the scars on her chest and sides (which was awkward because of the placement of the scars), it brought them so much closer. They are frequently called Mom and Dad by everyone, with MoonDal being dad because she is harder on the members than Dongheon is.

Hoyoung

Moonie and Hoyoung aren’t super super close but when they are alone together they have casual conversations about whatever is on their mind. Because of Hoyoung studying in New Zealand they speak in English sometimes randomly. “Do you have any laundry that needs to be done?” “Yeah in my room.” Really they speak it at such random times that it’s just natural for them to slip in English sometimes.

Minchan

Minchan and Moonie are close and pretty clingy. They are so sweet with each other that the other members fake gag, “Minchan oppa!!” “My favorite Moonie!!!!” Is normally their greeting. They play video games with each other all the time, complete with yelling and talking with food in their mouths. On a serious note, they open up to each other about most things. When she finally opened up about her sexual assault he just couldn’t leave her side.

Gyehyeon

These two are like the most unlikely duo. If you wanna see clingy, just have Gyehyeon and MoonDal in the same room. They first bonded over martial arts (because Moonie did taekwondo as a kid and still enjoys it to this day) and just common interests. They really enjoy each other’s company; whether it’s watching movies, playing phone games, or just sitting at home they will have something to talk about.

Yeonho

When Yeonho and Moonie are together they are just laughing and playing jokes on each other. They truly are the happiest beans whenever they are together. Their relationship is pretty surface level if we’re all being honest, they never really have any deep conversations like she has with Gyehyeon, Minchan, and Dongheon. They still care for each other and will protect each other till the day they die but they don’t have that deep of a relationship.

Yongseung

They aren’t that close but they are dance partners with each other most of the time. In the beginning Moondal actually thought that Yongseung hated her, he was always so distant and kind of cold to her. They talked it out but still are not close. If they’re left alone they don’t really talk, only when necessary or if they’re working on a dance they will discuss what to do for the dance but that’s about it.

Kangmin

KANGMIN IS HER ACTUAL BABY. He’s the only one younger than her so she treats Kangmin as her child. She punches his cheeks, packs him lunch for school, constantly says “I love you” just to make him embarrassed and all flushed, punch his cheeks, but him snacks, everything. They have a very close relationship, even though Kangmin is younger she has no problem opening up to him. When she told him about the sexual assault, he’s the other one she showed the scars to (again very weird because of the placement and because he is younger but she trusts him a lot).

Luna Bam/Bam MoonDal

Trivia/Back story:

- Is adopted and the only non-asian child

- Her only sister is the one who is naturally born from MoonDal’s parents

- Knows nothing about her birth parents other than the fact that they were too young to care for her so they dropped her off at an orphanage and requested no contact with her ever.

- Was given her English name Lune/Luna because when she was dropped off it was a full moon and she had no name prior so the nanny at the orphanage decided to name her after the moon

- The minute she could stand she was put into dance classes like the other girls at the orphanage, and excelled at it.

- Since she was born in French-Canada, French is her first language while English is her second. Her first word was “Bonbon” and her first word in English was “Oops”

- In the orphanage she was always the first one to help whoever needed it; the nannies with cleaning, kids in her dance class with form, setting up for meals, etc.

- She was adopted at the age of 5, which is pretty old to be adopted, to a family in Korea. The dad is a translator and transcription writer for a big Korean company and can speak over 10 languages. The mom is a Korean History teacher at a middle school. At that point they had 1 naturally born daughter and had adopted 4 boys from different asian countries.

- Luna’s first Korean words were “엄마 아빠 사랑해.”

- When she got to Korea she was taught the Korean language at home, and after her Kindergarten at 학원. She studied her butt off at it and became officially fluent at the age of 6 1/2.

- Her Korean name comes from the fact that her English name is Luna and her parents always said that it just made sense to name her after the moon in Korean too. (문 is Moon and that is moon in English, and 달 is moon in Korean)

- In Korean culture there are things called conception dreams and MoonDal’s parents said that there’s involved a moon shining brightly in the sky and a bird flew across.

- Her new siblings ADORED her from the beginning. They all knew English because of their father and protect her from any harm.

- After learning Korean she told her dad she wants to learn even more languages and thus started her lifelong goal to become as fluent in any language she can.

- Went back to dance class once she got to Korea. Started in ballet, modern, contemporary, then went to hip hop, popping, waacking, covering kpop. Is a super talented dancer.

- Starting from a young age she was bullied. She was always different. She was the only white person in her school, her accent in the beginning of speaking Korean was apparent (it became a natural Korean one after a while), she was always really thin (many people said that she was anorexic for attention), she was too trusting.

- All she wanted was a friend growing up, so she began trusting everyone and getting burned. She trusted these really pretty girls and eventually they just spread rumors that she has an eating disorder. She trusted this one boy 2 years ago and she ended up getting attacked, sexually assaulted and raped.

- Eventually the guy found out and said that she had to...get rid of the child and forced an abortion on her.

- She tried to forget but she couldn’t.

- She never really wanted to be an idol, she never thought she was good enough to be one, yet she got scouted by companies multiple times. The one time she said yes to speak to a company she said that she didn’t want to be an idol, but said that she could be a manager (she’s a Virgo okay she likes her order and schedules). So she agreed under Jellyfish Entertainment to be a manager for VeriVery

- Just before this she went through a rebellious streak and got illegal tattoos from underground artists. She has her star sign behind her left ear, the name of her passed child on her left shoulder blade (태양), the outline of moon and stars on her bicep, and a moon phases sternum piece to hide the scarring where her attacker hurt her
