Weird question. As a writer, I’ve written a lot of pairings, but what if I’ve never written this one and want to apply to write for this zine? Would that make a difference in choosing a writer?

Not weird at all! I don’t know from when is this ask but I think it’s important to answer since we’re opening new spots for writers: No, it won’t make difference. It can be easier for the judges to know your portrayal of Soldier if you have written about him before, but we’re judging solely how good is your writing and if it fits what we’re looking for to have in the zine. You can send us snippets of any fanfiction you think shows the best of your writing.

Also, just a reminder, but shipping won’t be the focus of the zine; all pieces will be Jack Morrison-centered.

Important note for current participants

We have sent an e-mail to all current participants, and along a detailed explanation of how organization and new calendar will work from now on, there’s a form to answer. It’s important for current participants who still want in to answer this form because it’s the way we know you want to stay. If you don’t answer we will assume you don’t want to participate anymore - it’s important that we know how many of the current participants want to stay so we know how many new spots will be available when new applications open!

NEWS!!

Hello there! I’m sure everyone is dying to know what happened to this project - after some changes in the moderation, the project is still going to happen!

Since it’s been so long, we’re treating the project as if it’s brand new. And with that in mind, we will be opening applications for new participants (artists and writers) as well as for new mods.

Both apps will open on March 10th. Keep an eye open ;)
