worst manga(s) you've ever read?

I’ve probably read some really bad manga but I don’t remember them because I usually drop stuff I don’t like. No point suffering through it.

I both enjoyed and suffered through a lot of GANTZ though. The horror elements were really effective. It was fucking terrifying. But I hated the sexual parts...

honestly the lack of activity on blogs like this and lack of follows is just part of this site slowly deteriorating now. a huge chunk of the userbase disappeared when the nsfw ban went down and then ever since then the trickle of creators and popular bloggers migrating elsewhere have had followers trickling off the site i think eve tho tumblr will never truly die i think its fall into obscurity is well on its way at this point. weve seen it enough times before

The loss of creators is the thing that hurts the most about the NSFW ban.

But I’ve honestly stagnated followers and had declining notes for longer than that.

Dear Followers,

This may seem like a surprise, but I will be suspending activity on this blog for the foreseeable future. I might occasionally logon at best. I just frankly don’t have the time and energy anymore. Follower count and notes have also slowly been declining the past few years so I assume that people are also moving on.

I want to thank all my followers and everyone who has enjoyed throughout the 7 years I have been running this blog. I started FAS on a whim and I never thought it would get so popular. I’ve had a blast sharing content and especially answering asks which became a really special part of this blog for me.

As of now I will be letting my queue run out and slowly finish answering asks. I won’t delete FAS so people can continue to browse old content.

Thanks for the fun ride. I will miss it a lot. Bang….

I know your thoughts on DitF but I was wondering if you had an opinion on Kill la Kill? At first glance, it seems like obnoxious, ridiculous fanservice is the main problem with both of them, and they're both by Studio Trigger - if you had to compare what you knew, would you say Kill la Kill is better or do you think both are trash?

I enjoyed KLK when I watched it despite the outfits and transformation scene feeling really excessive. I think because most of the series was played out really cartoonish and jokey. I don’t know if I would feel the same way today. Honestly all the “discourse” about the “meaning behind” the fanservice really turned me off it.

I can’t say how I feel about one versus the other as I haven’t seen KLK in a long time. I can say that its okay to enjoy problematic things as long as you acknowledge that it has shitty parts to it, not promote or condone the shitty parts, and understand why people don’t like it or think its harmful etc.
