Or,” he said playfully, messing up the boy’s hair, “you could always stay here in camp by me.”
Fredrick moved to grab the Captain’s hand when he fussed at his hair letting a noise of frustration pass through his lips. However he figured it couldn’t be so bad to help his Captain out. He did seem to have a lot of work to do, and it was really hard for him to be two places at once. “Okay, but does that mean I have to write letters for you or do I actually really get to help?”
