so you agree that getting around most american cities in a convenient and timely fashion is impossible without a car? that public transit is largely non-functional to the point that people are forced to decide whether to sacrifice significant chunks of time, energy, or straight up cash?

better public transport is beneficial for you even if you never set foot in a bus or train your entire life, because it means less traffic for you in your beloved car tearing up the road

Using language to convey meaning is actually really problematic because meaning can be negative, hostile, or even abusive. Not only that, but language can be used to convey sexual ideas to minors, which means that speaking with the intent of being understood is actually always grooming.
