No I’m not gone, i got my stuff and then the entire blog flagged by posting dick even with the new “tag” for nsfw.
tumblr still says adult content isn't allowed don't get too excited over community labels
seriously if they announce adult content is allowed again i'll be celebrating with you all but please don't mistake the post they made about community labels for announcing their adult content policy is changing
So, to make sure I’ve got this straight:
1. Tumblr just rolled out a set of content-related metatags (e.g, “Mature”, etc.), along with mandatory age-based filtering of posts that use these tags.
2. Some rando who claims to be with @staff has been going around claiming that this heralds the end of the tiddy ban; however, at the time of this posting (2022-09-26) there have been no changes to Tumblr’s pubilcly viewable content policies.
3. The preponderance of evidence is that this is actually a response to some legal horseshit going down in California, and has nothing to do with forthcoming changes to those policies.
Is that about the size of it?
