Basics
What name does your character go by? Any nicknames?: Gabriella Mazzarella. Known around Chicago as La Lupa, as she tends to be rather ruthless.
What does your character do for a living? Do they have a side hustle? Is it legal?: She’s a boss in Chicago for the Camarra, and smuggles cigarettes and other sundries (cocaine, marijuana, etc.) back and forth from America to Naples. This is most assuredly not legal.
Where does your character live? Roommates? Married? Single? She owns an estate in a wealthy neighborhood of Chicago. She lives there with her son and is a widow under mysterious circumstances. Her husband was a brute of a man who sadly died before she relocated to America.
Are they in the mafia? If they’re not mafia, what is their profession? Are they for or against the mafia? She is very much in the Mafia.
Family Life
What Family are they from? She is from the Mazzarella Clan out of Naples, Italy, which is a part of the Camarra, a massive crime syndicate in Naples.
What does their Family specialize in? the Mazzarella’s specialize in cigarette smuggling.
What is their involvement in the Family work? She runs the Chicago branch for the Mazzarellas. She works often with The Saint (Santino di Lugano), and can be seen in his club from time to time.
Do they like being a part of their Family? If yes, what is their favourite part of the Family work? If no, what do they hate about it? She is perfectly happy, as it gives her control she might not otherwise have, especially as a woman. She loves the power, the freedom, and the ability to answer mainly to herself.
Relationships
Who are your character’s friends?: some of that remains to be seen, though she is on good business terms with The Saint and is relatively close with Eric.
Who does your character not get along with?: Anyone who looks at her the wrong way or crosses her son.
Are they in love? How does that affect their job and how well they do it? Not at all.
What is their sexuality? Does it affect their standing in/out of the Family? She prefers the company of women. This is only part of the reason the Camarra sent her to America. The other is the death of her husband.
Who do they trust? Very few. She trusts The Saint, though only to a point. She implicitly trusts Eric, though she’d never tell him that.
Goals
What do they want out of their job? Are they happy with where they are in life? She loves her work and tends to be quite happy with it.

I carried him beneath my heart for nine months. I once knew each inch of his childish skin, each bruise and scar. It’s hardly surprising that none of that changed, especially after the time we spent together before he came to you. …And he needs to learn to keep his mouth shut at least 50% of the time. He’d do far better if he did.
But it is surprising. To me, it is. There are nights where I drive myself mad trying to remember my own mother’s voice or face. No matter how well I know him, I will never fully understand him as you do.
At least there is one thing we can unequivocally agree on. Was he always so loud mouthed? I’d imagine so…
The first part of him I remember seeing was his mouth, wide open and screaming.
