Summary: Bart tries to teach himself Spanish in order to get closer to Jaime and his family. When Jaime catches him studying, Bart lies and says he’s failing his Spanish class. Naturally, Jaime offers to tutor Bart, and how could Bart say no to that?

It was cold. No, cold doesn’t quite do the feeling justice. It was icy. It was the type of cold that started in her bones and seeped through the rest of her body. It was a cold that turned her blood into frigid rivers and rendered her body immobile.
It was also dark, though dark in much the same way that it was cold. It was like existing in the void, until a shadow happened to float past her vision, and she tried to grab it, but it turned out that the shadow was nothing after all.
It wasn’t quiet. There were murmurs all around her, though she couldn’t decipher any of their meanings. But in the background there was a ceaseless ringing, a ringing that intensified with every second she continued to exist in this plane.

Hello, everyone! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve hosted an event, but I’m bringing back the yjficexchange Mini Big Bang!
A Big Bang is a fandom event where authors and artists work together to create something great together! The author writes a fic and the artist creates an accompanying piece of artwork. Typically, Big Bang fics are over at least 10k words, but the minimum length has been reduced to 5k, hence mini (though longer fics are appreciated, too!)
The purpose of this Mini Big Bang is to bring the fandom together, writers and artists, as we continue to celebrate the impending return of our favorite Team!
- Timeline: April 1st–July 4th
- Minimum Fic Length of 5k
- Minimum One piece of art per story
Fic content is entirely up to the author, as long as it is about Young Justice, the submitted prompt has the Mod’s approval, and it follows the yjficexchange’s community guidelines. Art must also be within the guidelines.
